All you do is (if a high level) find some on the outer swamp (so there are less sarco, bears, kapros, baronyxes, etc, to annoy you. Knock out with fists (again, if your character is high level and mostly up on melee). Make sure it’s not a big group or they might knock you out. Feed meat. Once tamed, you can use an argy or another tame to bring it to your base. Up it a bunch on weight, craft saddle, and boom. Your favorite new tame. *don’t jump near cliffs, they do it long and high, so when near a cliff jumping... say bye bye*. They’re great jumping, pretty fast, good swimmers, shall I go on? Also for mobile users, to use the sweep move of it (it gives torpidity) there should be a way to if you swipe on the left side of your screen. Up if this helped!

When taming on land or even water I suggest using the crossbow or long neck rifle with darts. The normal bow while it has fast reload speed isn’t accurate enough to hit them once they get too close.

if you don’t have a great frog but ur looking to run the swamp cave just do the first tunnel as you can easily get out if you get low and you get about 500 paste minimum each time

How do you tame these? I’ve seen them but they always kill me when I try to tame them.

Best way to tame it, get a bola, sling or tranq arrows. Get something to protect it. Then name it Jabba the Hutt ( just a suggestion )

These guys are good for killing leeches and bugs for chitin

One of the best jumpers in the game, this makes an excellent mount, especially since it makes cementing paste. Lower level ones are somewhat frail in my experience, so take the time to find a high level, and carry it to a taming pen. Just tame, and have fun leaping across the swamps collecting cementing paste!

I have a frog had a hell of a time getting a male died 2 times and when i bread these frogs it looked like a fish egg and only one egg i was expecting better but hopefully a update van fix it and for anyone trying to get a frog go to the southern jungle by the swamp either with a argy or a rex and when u spot one jump off and use 3 to 4 tranq arrows but carefull they can lick you and poisen you and there toungue reaches far then put 120 pcs of raw meat in him and wait umtil it tames now you have a frog ohh and btw while taming watch your back

Get a high level one and use it for the swamp cave I did it and it worked amazingly cause it fit through the smaller part which most best cave dinos couldn’t get through

To tame all you need are bolas, stimberries, a club, a random other kind of berry like the blue ones, narco, berries, and a couple spears for meat gathering. These things should always be starve tamed.

They dont take fall damage from great heights but still be careful when jumping off a mountain or something.

It was pretty easy to tame steps bring a strong mount of wanted you just need a club or tranq arrows a campfire for leeches it takes like 4-10 hits w club depending on lvl and like 2-6 Tranq arrows also depending on lvl bring 1-4 stacks of meat w you in case (it eats meat) and it’s found in swamp or close by the swamp bring like 8 narcotics if you want once tamed it has high jump gets lots of chin tin for cement paste and hide etc and it can only breed underwater I found out after an hour of trying to breed them on land (I read a tip that said they breed underwater only) all around a really fun tame to get

FOR EARLY GAME

You will need:

Bola

Slingshot/tranq arrows

Not to go into water

1. Go into a swamp

2. Wait until it’s alone, out of water, and not looking at you

3. Bola it from behind

4. Go ham with slingshot/arrows FROM BEHIND

5. Put a stack of 20 meat in its inventory as well as 5 narcotics

6. Keep an eye out

7. Make sure the purple meter stays in between the “S” and “C” in unconscious. If he goes below, force feed narcotics with RT, R2, or left clicking

8. Wait

9. Get a saddle and enjoy!!

TIPP: (HOW TO GET TONS OF CEMENTING PASTE)

You all know that Beezebufo is one of the best best cemeting paste Collectors in the game. But it's hard to find some insects around the map. So i would recommend you to go inside the swamp cave with your Beezebufo and kill the insects inside the cave, because there are unbelievible much Magneuras spawning inside.

You should wear a chillie seit and take some healing potions with you so you dont die cause of the gas. I would also recommend to make the swing attack of the beeze instead of the frontal attack because you dont have to aim if you do that.

Reasons why you should tame 1 you and go super long distances 2 staima recharges fast 3 can knock thing out 4 can get cementing paste cons runs out of staima fast but if you run then jun with it u can recharge staima and keep going

This how u tame a froggy punch a lot until goes night night then force it to eat prime meat hen then force it to eat narco berries after that jump on ur frog and get it to eat bugs.

I finally got one and it was killed by a baryonyx before we even got home. Just know they can be pretty fragile at times.
