All you do is (if a high level) find some on the outer swamp (so there are less sarco, bears, kapros, baronyxes, etc, to annoy you. Knock out with fists (again, if your character is high level and mostly up on melee). Make sure it’s not a big group or they might knock you out. Feed meat. Once tamed, you can use an argy or another tame to bring it to your base. Up it a bunch on weight, craft saddle, and boom. Your favorite new tame. *don’t jump near cliffs, they do it long and high, so when near a cliff jumping... say bye bye*. They’re great jumping, pretty fast, good swimmers, shall I go on? Also for mobile users, to use the sweep move of it (it gives torpidity) there should be a way to if you swipe on the left side of your screen. Up if this helped!
More Beelzebufo Taming & KO Tips
Do not make the same mistake I did! When breeding these, they only mate on water and the egg will stay on the water and cannot be picked up. During maturation, do not put them on cryopod and throw them into land, they will instantly die.
this guy is the easiest swamp guy to tame even though he gets aggressive just stay a bit distance. She only a couple arrows if it’s a low one with tranquilizer arrows and just it’s done they were extremely easy and overpowered with cementing paste.
How to tame: Beelzebufo.
You will need: Argy with saddle, 30 Narcotic, Tranq darts (reccomended) or tranq arrows, 40 fish meat, 2 bolas and a safe spot to tame. Step 1: Scour the swamp for a beelzebufo. You choose the gender. Step 2: Once you find a beelzebufo you're happy with, pick it up with your argy. Step 3: Fly to your safe spot, and drop the beelzebufo. Step 4: Bola the beelzebufo, and tranq it out with; Tranq darts, (reccomended) Tranq arrows or simple, old, fists. Step 5: Give the beelzebufo your fish meat and narcotic. Feed it narcotic whenever you think you need to. Step 6: Protect the beelzebufo with your argy. Step 7: Once it's tamed, bring it to your base with your argy. Step 8: Name it, and take your extra fish meat and narcotic and put it away for future use. Step 9: You tamed a beelzebufo! Please ^ if this was helpful!
Head to the edge of the swamp and find one out of harms way or hit one and run to lure it away from baddies then bola and K.O. Give it some meat (may need nartonics) then ya got yourself a froggo
People make such a big deal about this thing. Just bola it and knock it out with a club. IM LEVEL 15 AND I TAMED ONE THAT WAY! Hope this makes taming it easier! 😁
100% melee damage is 20 base damage with beelzebufo sweep attack = 60 torpor over 10 secs. A second sweep attack within that 10 secs will only deal additional damage. 1000% melee damage will do 600 torpor over 10 secs with sweep attack :)
If you wanna tame this frog go in deep water because it can't attack while swimming.
Best way I find is to use a argy if you have one and find your desired level and swoop it up and drop it in a tame box in your base bc the swamp is a terrible place.
This is the most OVER POWERED animal in ark to get. If you see a LvL 100 don't miss out on taming it. I have taken out carnos and spinos with it with ease and it its great for getting around and knocking things out. GET ONE AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!! PS. Great swimmer
Everyone is making this too hard, use a bola, tranq arrow it, feed and your done you have my favorite Dino in the game. Fast, jumps high, swims great, aoe attack, knockout bonus. All around winning, I ride one with two more following me.
