Most underrated creature in ark, hands down

Tamed this fella for cementing paste. I got a high level. It's actually crazy. Their stamina is really good, and easy to regenerate. Long jumps, and it doesn't even take fall damage. It can also swim really well, making it my Go-to tame for travelling at all. I killed a couple of dire bears with my high level one because the melee has so much range. Even the walk is really fast. You can outrun basically any creature using its jumps

These guys are great mounts for speed and have alright attack

Use raw fish meat or normal raw meat

These things are PHENOMENAL

They’re basically water-accessible pteranodons that make CP. They don’t take any amount of fall damage at all, from any height; they do insane torpor; they’re fast swimmers that can outrun almost any water creature in the ocean, and they can fit literally anywhere. They don’t have great weight, but if you’re building underwater they’re wonderful for getting metal runs going, even if they’re small.

10/10 will be taking an army of these from now on

Remember the basics when dealing with these, always. They might not be the strongest of wild creatures, but the biome they're in is full of scary dinos. Carry some bolas to immobilize it and your tranqs, always keep an eye open to other threats in the area, and if you don't already, carry around some stimberries on your hotbar, just in case one of these hits you and your torpor goes apeshit. Can be picked up by an Argy without taken any damage to a quite place or a trap house where you can tame it.

Fun fact:these guys actually can insta kill leeches,bugs,any small bugs

Bugs give:cementing paste

Leeches give:silica pearls,leech blood,oil

My lvl 153 one killed a mosa

It had 350 melee and 3k health

When breeding/imprinting (especially taking them on walks), make sure there's no way they can follow you out of the water. They will die if not completely submerged.

The stab attack seems to collect more cp than the sweep.

Idk why no one was said anything about how good these little foggos are at collecting prime Meath this the 2nd attack, I was on a meat run with my lvl 138 bufo and eliminated a brontosaurus and got a total of 11 prime meat from two licks.

killing bugs in the swamp cave with a frog is the best way to get industrial amounts of cementing paste for large metal builds and ascendant gear. if you have a tribe to provide for then this frog is your second best friend behind tek stryder

Besides the Karkinos, the Beelzebufo is the most fun you can have with an animal. For such a seemingly simple creature, the frog has so much love put into it. If you don't have access to snails for cementing paste, the frog is for you. If you kill Meganeuras, Titanomyrmas, Jug Bugs, or Glowbugs, you can harvest cementing paste from them. They also have a realistic life cycle. Even though the tadpole phase is just the butt outstretched, it is still cool to see metamorphosis in ARK. Frogs aren't stupid fast, but they are decent for transport, especially in the water. And lastly, their jump is only matched by the Procoptodon, Karkinos, (possibly) Iguanodon, and Ice Titan. With such a high jump, it is able to scale walls easily. Overall, the frog is an extremely useful and fun animal. Oh and to tame it, just bola it, knock it out, and feed it any meat or Regular Kibble and above. It is extremely easy to tame for such a useful creature.

if your out of narcs in mobile dont feed it narcoberries they for some reason eat the narcoberriers

Go to the swamp cave on the island map make sure you have a gun to deal with the arthropleura but a good lvl frog can handle everything else you will leave with over 4000 cement paste and more chitin then you can carry

easy and cheap to tame! get behind it, bola, and use tranq arrows and/or a club to knock it out. these guys spawn in swamps, so while it's out you can kill titanoboas for prime meat and your frog will eat it right up. don't forget to aim for the head when shooting at snakes :)

If you get a saddle on one of these make sure to have a lot of stamina on it cause it's fast on land and water.perfect beginner tame.

These little devils are a real good tame they go verrrrry fast when jumping and also swim as well making it an all terrain froggy friend :)
