What does it mean it’s a mid game tame like I understand you can get this in the mid game but it’s the one strongest water creatures ever if it’s a higher level and it can probably carry you to the end game in the water

Ok people. Does anyone else notice the ROTTEN CORPSES everywhere on the beaches in The Center THAT I THINK ARE THESE CUTE LIL GUYS or did these suckers just get beached before I started the game, like, simultaneously??? I don’t care how many ups or downs I get just be aware this is happening to me and might be happening to you. PS you don’t get raw or prime fish meat from the corpses, they are all rotten.

I have thalassophobia,and it was a breeze getting one,no terror(I also had a SCUBA suit and dolphin)just so you know,you can find five at herbivore island,though that might wander into megalodon territory(for those on mounts)or the whales guys(for those on rafts)and they like regular meat,though they eat quickly and are surrounded by mantas,megalodons,cnideria,and sometimes electrophourus,but are really good against megalodons(mine soloed a alpha meg and another regular megalodon)

You can find Basilo Upward the island and backward the island oceans And you can also check specific places like Herbivore island ( bottom right corner) Snow biome sea ( center of Map) snow biome ( Left side western island)

Basilos give an unlimited amount of oil

I just go in the water and find one

Don't make a basilo army for your own...

If not mounted, basilos only attacks by their own or with command if they are close to the surface even if they are not taking damage from the deep.

If you unmount for example for a deep see loot crate on the island map, they will let you and itself to die if you become stunned by jellyfish or eels.

They act like a passive creature even if you set them neutral or agressive. Attack this target won't work either if you are in deep waters.

Mobile and ASE have insta kill bug not as good as they say

currently is the only tame you need for ocean exploration. The hp drain when deep does nothing as you can explore all the deep caves with just a basilo EZ. Hopefully they give other water tames like plesio immune to shocking and jellyfish because it makes NO SENSE that this EASY tame makes all the other water dinos useless. Using a plesio (maybe mosa could be fine if you have a basilo with you to kill the jellies and eels) for deep exploration is a DEATHTRAP and taming plesio+dunkleo takes very long because you will need a trap and hundreds of tranq arrows to tame compared to the easy shallow passive basilo tame. plz update game
