This dude is found around herbivore island

just tamed one of these only to drown mid-fight against some megs. terrified that i was about to lose my tame so soon, i hurried back to where i died as fast as i could... only to find my basil had WRECKED all the megs. he can kill one shark in less than a minute! we traveled from herb island all the way to carno island, and he gained 10 levels along the way from killing more megs, plus he collected so much fish meat he was almost encumbered. definitely a must tame--you'll never have to worry about megs, mantas, or jellyfish again.

To tame this creature you need an Ichyosaurus, because nothing will attack you if you are riding it. It takes a while for it to to start the second feeding. Also, make sure you’re using the same food or the taming process will restart. A must-have to get biotoxin, because they are torpor immune. Was swimming and i see this and the mantas start attacking me and my meg and sadly he died upv0t3 so my meg can rest in peace

If the basilosarus is surrounded by creatures kill them so they won’t get in your way and try to build a pen so then don’t wander off if there in a pool like the one in herbivore island

These things are like superman and wolverine. They are invulnerable to tusos, jellyfish, and eels. When they get to the surface they get insane health back. They only have one weakness depth in the ocean, they get damaged.

While taming the Basilosaurus you need to have a underwater dino to make it easier to swim back up and get air and the Basilosaurus is a slow taming process so do be patient.

Sometimes has ichys instead of mantas, I found on at herbavore island with ichys when doing hunt basilosaurus

Yo, basilosaurus are the goats. If they can't be grabbed by a tuso and stunned by electrophorus and cnidarians, the ocean' annoying wonders, it would mean it's in grabable

Bra this thing is a killer i fought a alpha mosa and lose like 3-4k health only it's just insane the alpha had like 56k health..... it's a must have dino and it took 1shotingbalm and 1therizino kibble...this thing is undisputed of the ocean......but sadly it take damage when in the depts of the ocean but it has tones of health good luck

They passively make oil for all your cooking and electrical needs!

I use an archelon to tame these. It kills the entourage, gives you oxygen, and can just roll along with the basi as you hop off and feed it

In mobile a lot of em spawn near the herbivore island , and most have no manta (with me at least) ,use a dolphin for this since their quick and if your running out of air you can easily bolt up to the surface.

Be careful while trying to take these guys because when you try to feed them while there are mantas around it then all hell breaks loose

For the people who are having a really hard time taming this creature and it’s tame bar resetting when that happens I recommend using some prime meat and kibble anything that can make the taming percentage high I used a smoothing balm 10x in ark mobile got a 10x taming boost I just fed the basilosaures 1thrizinosaures egg kibble and it was tamed

Accidentally punched an ammonite? Pray that you have one of these things because these guys are tanks and dish out decent damage, sure they get damaged in the deep but the damage is abysmal.

Can't be tamed and stored on the Underworld Center because it loses health due to water depth

When you feed the basilosaurus yo will notice “Red mist” come from its mouth, this must attracts nearby water carnivores like megalodon to you so be careful and maybe bring some body Guards when taming this thing

If you live next to like a bay or a deep ish reviver then I recommend you tame two one for underwater exploration then keep the other ones stamina as low as possible and swim it around the river that way the stamina runs out and they will eat to re gain stamina then they will produce oil because they are naturally behind fed (note force feeding them won’t produce oil they have to eat by themselves)

If you wanna kill those demon jellyfish then I definitely recommend the basil because it is immune to their damage.
