Watch when taming these guys. Electric eels come out of nowhere. They are quite tricky to tame because of the mantas and eels.

When you will try to tame one of these guys, you should have an aquatic creature first like an Ichythyosaur, because these basilosaurs keep moving away from you when they are hungry. When they are fed, they don't move away from that spotl also, bring a pike with you because there are alot of mantas following them.

I tamed one and the ENTIRE FRICKING OCEAN came to eat it! Now there’s like 20 sharks on my shore and I can’t get rid of them. They also ate all of my dolphins. And now all of my rafts are in the middle of the ocean with no way to get there. Now I have to go through the stress of taming a dolphin again. I rate it 0/10. Too much trouble for what it’s worth

On mobile tame odd dolphin and put taming food in your bar and tame on odd dolphin.

Get a berryonyx to get rid of the stingrays to get a Barryonyx go to the swamp. get Trank arrows Trank the Head

If you are or are hoping to breed these guys, (on mobile) keep in mind that they eat a LOT. Like a WHOLE LOT. As much as going out to get 100 fish meat and they ate it all up already, so you have to go again. Trust me. I’ve made this mistake. Rip my lvl 378 baby Basil

Not sure about this one but ive heard that this tame along with healing itself, producing oil and being immune to stuns gives insolation and oxygen? Not sure about last two tho 🫤🤷‍♂️

How to tame basi on mobile ultimate guide:

Bugs:

Dont tame basi with raw meat only using kibble or prime meat there is bug that makes raw meat interval insanely long and not worth waiting

What you need for taming:

Ichty balm and meat or kibble (prime meat is best)

No scuba gear required i tamed it at base oxygen no problem

Now when you find basi feed it on ichty and from my expiriance nothing will agro on you cuz you are on ichty and wait for next feed if your low on oxygen go to surface.

Repeat process until its tamed

I tamed two of these up for their tankiness but they BOTH GOT INSTA-KILLED BY ANGLERS. Watched as they went from over 10k hp to DEAD the next second. Unsure if a bug. You have been warned!

Its almost impossible to tame on genesis they swim so fast and the waters you find them in have a plethora of eels, sharks, manta, dunkley, and many other things.

You can use sarcos,ichtisaurus to make the mantas close to the basi grt distracted but if u wanna kill the mantas u can bring a spino and bring the mantas to land and the kill them with the spino or use a Meg and other options are another basi,plesiosaurus sarcosuchis(high lv with health) and a baryonix the basi eats Meat i use normal Meat cuz im too laxy to searh for prime but u can use prime if u want hope this helped:).

So first I didn’t know about these guys but when I found out about them I quickly knew they were useful. So I started trying to tame them but the somehow end up getting killed. I though something attacked them but I soon realized that maybe they were dying cuz of drowning. Well I one time left one out in the air *its head sticking out the water and then I saw the notification that my blasiosaur died! So I will never do that again. I then went to tame another one bu5 with fish it took too long so I used raw meat and it speeded up the process! Hope this tip was helpful. *and sorry about the story of my blasilosaur dying*
