So. I was taming some icthys in the ocean (I have 10 btw) And I saw this thing. I was riding my icthy(Mr FEESHY) so I was like “oooooooh a new thing ta kill. So I rode up and killed all the mantas. (I hate them btw) I started attacking it but it didn’t react. It was like level 9 and had like 5000 hp so I thought it was waitin until I stopped attacking so it could KILL me. But still, did not react. I was like “ if dis ding don’t react within the next 10 secs I gonna murder him.” But it didn’t so I murdered him. It was about 20-30 ark days before I learned that it was passive and you could hand feed it. It was about 30 ark days before I spotted another one. 1 up=1 brain cell 4 me. 😂😂😂

Underwater tank, these guys can be used to tank bases and take on a tuso for a while, which gives you an opening to tame the tuso, also passively produces 20 oil over 20 ish minutes.

Use sarco because it swim very fast if you have high level only use it ride it when travel to basilo food oxygen and stamina it makes life easy and this thing can take alot of damage and deal ton only downside its flat attack range goodl luck with that lol

How to tame..?? It asks me to feed fish meat but when i drop it its not eating

If you are taking a Basilosaurus on Ark: Mobile... You are recommended to have soothing balm. They go fairly fast, but my Basilosaurus was draining food. Could someone please correct me on my incident?

If you whistle neutral they will run away, also if you have another following you it will not attack when whistled too

These guys are actually very overpowered and here’s why. Once tamed they become passive oil generators and are immune to stun also they are absolute tanks a level 18 basilo can have 2880 hp and deals massive damage and yeah

Having a dolphin makes taming these much easier u can feed it while riding the dolphin without beeding to dismount and nothing attacks a dolphin so u will tame the highest levels easily just gotta have the food it requires

It's easy to tame with any fish meat just don't let it get to the deep

My partner and I tamed one of these. We killed all the mantas using a meg and a plesiosaur, passive tamed it ,it ate quite quickly) and easily got it! They like to be near the surface. Found one near the snow biome near the underwater cave in the west and have seen another around herbivore island. Great for eating jellyfish and harvesting hoo toxin! And I’ve just found out they make oil :)

If you have a ichthy it’s so easy to passive tame it ( Bali ) just get about a few raw fish meat and boom you have tamed one ( Don’t forget to watch your oxygen )

I dont know if my game was buggy or not but, the tame was at 99% and I feed it. Instead of being tamed it dropped to 96% and so on, untell it was at 0%. The main part of this is to just be ready at any moment to lose your tame i guess, I know gow bad it feels now.

The underwater creature on Ark period. High health, rapid regen can dive in the deep end take still wont take huge damage. Protects rider from knock off effects and cold. Kicks Alphas ass. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the new meta for the genesis boss. I breed it and now have 38k health and 900 melee

Be careful because mantas love to swarm him and they are a passive tame give them prime fish meat or normal fish meat

Don't even use the kibble, lamb chops are much better for it

To tame the basilosaurus it's a passive tame so kill every thing around it and start feeding it
