What are tips for basilosaurus? Tips and strategies for basilosaurus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Suggested that using a decent sarco carrying a certain amount of mutton and a pack of preservatives which is not difficult to assemble. The sarco is strong and fast enough in the ocean while encountering a group of mantas or the sharks around the basilo. Also taking care of being trapped by mantas' strategic ring of encirclement.
Takes about eight minutes to eat again after the first feed
(Ps4) Use a tamed dolphin and press triangle around the front flippers and you will dismount and feed the basil at the same time. Make sure you have food in last slot of course. The dolphin can get you to the surface quick to get air.
First time I saw it I was happy but that ran quick when I saw that it was surrounded by 50 stingrays. How luck can change
Killing a basilo gives almost 300+ regular oil...sweet
Easily the best thing about the basilosaurus is that it is immune to the squid grab. Despite the pressure dmg it takes at those depths it is the best way to go after them.
Definitely not 51s intervals between kibble peeps...
When riding basilo u ll c ur protection against warm and cold rising up
First use a Baryonyx to stun all the mantas and itchys, then just kill them
You can use a Baryonyx to easily dispose of the Mantas with the stun attack. After that, this is a very easy tame.
I highly recommend the Basilosaurus - great for collecting bio toxin, very tanky and recovers health very fast when near the surface.
Easy tame just kill the mantas and you're good very powerful Dino for there size too, and ideal in caves
Stay close and keep feeding the basilosaurus. Straying to far can reset the taming meter. If the taming meter resets your taming effectiveness leaves off where you left off. If this happens your best to kill it and try with a new basilosaurus.
This tame is best to do with multiple people, or about 3-4 water Dinos. Every time you feed it,you'll aggro all mantas and sharks in the area.raw prime spoils super fast so tribe mates will need to make extra runs for it.
Just tamed one and taking back to my base, haven’t made saddle yet, but he’s already awesome. ( I mean she. ) She took about a year just to take one damn nibble of my raw meat ( don’t feed it it fish meat unless prime fish meat) but after the first bite she ate pretty quick. When taming it’s a passive tame. If your taming don’t think it’s a bug coz it won’t let you feed him again after first one he’s just tasting
Keep in my mind the first feeding interval after the intial one, can take up too 15 minutes from my wxperiwnce before the basilo is ready too eat again. I have a rented server and this is on 20x taming!
Found one near S3 E1, I killed the mantas ( it was right at the surface) and I tamed it, I lived at South 1 so I headed back (I had an Itchy) and I got close to my home then it got mauled by Megaladons, about 15-ish of them, I was very sad that I just tamed him then 2 minutes later he’s in the megaladons stomachs
I experimented with taming a level 5 of this guy on an Icthy. Just thinking on experimenting with the taming effectiveness of raw meat and raw fish meat. Fed it on my Icthy (not dismounted) with raw fish meat first. It got if I remember correctly 6 mantas with it. The mantas tried to locate me but were unsuccessful so they patrolled around for a while. They never located me then I accidentally hit the basil with Icthy trying to kill the mantas. The mantas ran away leaving me free to tame it. P.S. They didn’t come back to the basil.
Before you can passive tame it, you'll need to kill off all of the mantas that swarm around it. A low level Plesiosaur can easily get the mantas' attention and clear them out without much hassle.
Took a lonv time to eat the second, but after that it started eating really fast.
