I used my Baryonyx to tame one of these guys (went to herbivore island to find one). There was SO many mantas but it was fine I used my bary to lead them to me then stun and kill them, it wasn’t hard at all. Taming was easy as well since I used the kibble. (On mobile btw), so just have a baryonyx by your side and go to herbivore island and you’ll be set.

HUGE TIP: Have a sinomacrops on your back when taming these. Auto scream on. The sinomacrops will SCARE OFF THE MANTAS! Time your feeds with the scream cooldown. You can probably get 2 feeds per scream after the first feed. Just make sure they’re gone or you have a raft close. If you have a raft close you can just fly straight out of the water by bumping into your raft and holding x. ^^^

I have tamed one whale (in wild it had 125 level) in ARK:Mobile with common meat, prime meat (it was near the Deadly island with big populations of carnotaurs and argentavises) and special balm. With me were baryonyx and ichthiosaurus. I have stunned rays with baryonyx and kill them all, and after this I was feeding the whale.

Now, I have an 208lvl basilosaurus and it is imbalance! I'm fighting off megalodons, I'm sinking mosasaurs! Giant squid? Bash it! Jellyfishes and electrophoruses? Smash it! Alpha predators? Crush it! 23,600 - health, 1500 - stamina, over 200 - basic damage, and near the surface its health regenerates very quickly. The coolest underwater animal for me!

So I went to herbivore island and I found it on the shore and my noob ass trying to knock it out to tame😂😂😂😂😂

I find one in shallow water, lagoons, rivers etc. I use my lightning wyvern to kill the mantas as the Basi takes NO shock damage. Flippers and scuba. First feed and wait 5 minutes. Also, kill everything in the area that you can. The Basi likes to wonder while you're taming it.

Just feed it long nail Dino kibble and do it 2 times otherwise you will rage

Thank god these are a pasive tame but if it was gonna be a knockout tame than pls get rid of mantas

Bring a Sino along with you when taming a Basilo. They scare away the Mantas, which allows you to pick them off one by one.

Tips from an expert:These can be found in the pond that Herbivore Island has. Simply kill all of the predators in the area (mantas,megs,etc)

and all annoyances. Taming one of these is quite similar to taming an ichthyosaurus;however it is much more tedious. Be patient if you want a basilo.

If you level up it’s health even once is gets more then 400 health! And that’s only when you level it’s health up once, mine is a level 30 and it’s got over 7000 health and does massive damage to sharks and mantas! I haven’t even mentioned yet how it keep you warm in cold areas and keeps you cold in warm areas so your temperature is neutral! This is second only the the giant squid!

So easy to tame because there was a leet right next to me the whole time and I could just hop on and off of my itchy to grab prime meat and tame the basil

I got attack on an ich while I was feeding it , HOW?!?!?tell me

I was in crystal isles, and I found three of these guys, this is how I tanned them:

1. I had a Barry, and killed all the mantas with the spin attack

2. I used the meat from the mantas to feed the Basilo (these guys get hungry quick, so it won’t take too long)

3. Enjoy your knew Basilo! Hope this was helpful.

Be warned after you kill all the Mantas that are surrounding the basilo. There is a high chance that another manta will come wandering, and will attack you. I know this because I killed all the Mantas was taming the basilo and my megalodon all of a sudden after I got hit from something attacked and killed the baslio. Angry and sadness.

The best place to tame is gen 1 ocean biome they are EVERYWHERE!!!

The basilosaurus has some loyal guards with him that follow wherever it goes.

It depends sometimes all mantas(mostly 3),sometimes a Itchy with some mantas, and rarely no mantas at all with one itchy.

It's a passive tame by the way if you want to tame this beast and generates oil which is useful

Guys it's a passive tame you can feed it ridding a dolphin I forgot that name of dino oops 🥲

But most importantly when i reached 80 percent it started to decrease 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ride an itchy if u want to tame it. Manta or megalodon won't hurt the icthy cause they so cute.

On mobile, the first food you give it takes longer. I have no idea why.

If you're playing on mobile I found a good deal of them on the south east. Also don't have it follow you I lost mine cause of megalodons.
