While it may look less threatening than a Carno, Baryonyx is still a very viable choice of mount, especially considering the fact that it’s more maneuverable than a Carno, especially in water, where it can stun anything its size with a tailspin. In addition, due to being a swamp native, leeches will ignore it. Much better mount overall in my opinion, with the only downsides being it’s frail at low levels and fairly rare.

Must have for early level sea creature taming. It’s aoe spin destroys rays and the shocking stingers, even when stunned, and can 1v1 a megladon easy. Makes clearing them for that one your after to tame a breeze. Upvote!

I didnt feel like fetching them all, so there's now 25 Baryonyxs in the wild. These apex predators, killing everything in sight.

They are about similar speed to a raptor but can carry way more, plus they can breathe underwater and go faster in water. Decent fighters on land and excellent in the water. Once you get their saddle, kill some salmon and knock one out. Congratulations, you have a tame that will do you wonders for as long as it lives.

I would say the best travel mount before level 50 if you have the tannery in mobile. Or if not it would still be a good companion

I my baryonyx the baroness and I decided to try going into the water and as soon as I got of the beach three megalodons attacked and I accidentally tapped on an ad and when it was over the baroness was gone with the megalodons I haven’t seen her since 1 like equals one love for baroness

Do not tame this using a Dino they can knock you off

When you level it up to around 150 it can kill a mammoth in two bites I would use this for underwater caves and above ground underwater caves

10/10 best land mount in the game, rivaling the thyla. It may not be the strongest but it's a lot more useful than the spino since it fits in almost all of the caves of the island

The Baryonyx kibble should be used to tame another creature in ark mobile, as the megalania isn’t there in Mobile. Hopefully the game can update this.

Had a twin baryonyx with high stats and now im using them to hunt spinos and rexes sometimes giga and mosas
