I now have 5 berys guarding my pvp house boat in mobile they can wipe anything that swims super easy and they are so underrated 4 caves and mine can easy kill rexes when I need 2 the tail spin will nock u off any water dino and sometimes on land they can knock u off a raptor or something similar that being said they are easy 2 ko so be wary about that in pvp otherwise they are pretty much unstable If I have a max imprint currently mine are only lv 150 throu 160 ish and they have killed like 500 mantas and count less meg they will not attack the itchy as long as they don't get to close

These guys are very good bio toxin farmers

Just stay near land for an easy escape if needed

They can kite jellies around while you can shoot them, or can take them down occasionally in melee

You can use a rifle from the back of these guys as well as an argentavis being able to carry them. The best land/water mount in my opinion

One of the bext fighters in the game. I swear to god, I had one that took on two trikes, 4 dilos and a pack of raptors. He came out with 600 out of 750 health. Fought a Theri with him and still came out on top. With all the stories about them just killing underwater, don’t think you’re safe on land.

They heal very quickly if they eat fish. They also are arguably the best at harvesting raw fish meat

Honestly op cuz if ur being chased by somthing on land you can just go in the water and if ur being chased by something in the water u can go on land

Barrys are the best! I just unlocked a saddle today for mine called Technoblade, and me and my bro went out exploring and found another which I tamed. They jump so far and swim well, speed is good, attack is awesome. Several times was almost killed by Theries but turned around and killed them easily. Definitely get one of you can.

These are the best tame in the game certainly. They are very fast on both land and water, and are incredibly agile. They are pretty easy tames early on if found at low level, so by the time you get the saddle, you have a very high level one, so they will be very affective on both land and water.

Mainly a land mount, they're very fast, agile and thin enough to squeeze between most tree's and gaps.

In the water they're slow but the tail whip will stun anything nearby. Just watch out for jellyfish!

A basic bred one is pretty useful for artifact caves! Strong, fast, and tall enough to keep ypu out of trouble. Need to keep topping its health off with fish though.

Very useful for caves underwater and outside of water on land in those caves as well

These guys are great on the island if your trying to get your first oil rocks from some of the rivers and near shore ocean bits. They only eat fish meat and kibble, they are larger raptors but they can’t be bolad, their size is like medium large.

Until you tame a Rock Golem or Tusoteuthis, this is your best method of killing the Eurypterids at viking bay.

It is really good at caving so if you plan on going to a cave you should tame this creature.

Best mount for caves. They are fast on water AND land, get buffed healing from fish, and can do a ton of damage if bred/imprinted. Simple baby of a high health female and high melee male allowed me to take on all caves except snow caves (skylord and strong)
