I had one of these guys once. His name was Fisherman. I died in the swamp cave while running it with him. He died before I got to him. Now, I had one named Fisherman II. I was running the Chitin Cave, and he got low and didn’t have food, so we got out of there quickly. I went into a river by the redwoods to get some fish meat. A nearby 435 bary killed him right in front of me, then I was next. I lost my ascendant hide armor, but losing Fisherman II was much worse. R.I.P. to them, they will be missed.

Hey, I'm Barry, Barry the baryonyx! I'm so glad your reading my story! This might be in the future! Wooowwww.... Cool! I'm a baryonyx with Hope's of being a writer! Dont ask how I know what that is... just buckle in, cause this is gonna be a long and bumpy ride! Seven years ago, I woke from my swamp. Mom and dad caught 12 piranhas that day. I had eaten my 6 up in 17 minutes. My mom took me for a swim and we caught some sabertooth salmon. We ate some sabertooth Salmon. Same old, same old. But then we saw something... how do you put it? Impossible. We saw a survivor. The sarcos glared at us as we went by. I smiled back. We caught up to the survivor. They didnt see us until... well,they did. They loaded their crossbow and shot at my mom. "Run, Barry! Just run!" She yelled to me. I ran and ran home, and told dad what happened he looked very aggravated and snarled but looked at me and said, "Barry... run. And dont. Stop. Running. I.. I might never see you again. Tears welled in my eyes and I hugged him, I looked at him and said "I cant.." "you have to, kiddo. I'm so sorry. Your mother and I love you." I couldnt help being angry. I wanted to help... but in their l-last moments the least I could do was listen. So I ran, and I ran. Until I met Perry.

I remember one of the first dinos to ever kill me in ark was the baryonyx. I was a noob and I saw it in a lake and I decided to go check it out...never again.

Me and my bro once had a baryonyx outside our house and it was in the worst space possible. Right next to a whole region that wasn’t even explored yet. So one day were like “I am done with this hbu?” “Let’s go get him” so we took our finest dilophosuares and killed him. 😁🎉

I tamed one when I was lvl ... 6-9... yeah I tamed one that early by nolawin it .. I hit it with a club but it broke free and attacked me.. I attacked back and soon it ran away from its high torpor and it was night time so I went back to my base and slept till the next day... I went back looking for it finding it in the water so I tried to get it to aggro but it was still to far so I hit it with my bow and it came over.. I ran back and bolad it then beat it with a club and and it knocked out and I fed it with fish meat.. another one was near by so I kept an eye on it soon my baryonyx tamed and I went back to base.. 2 days after I tamed it we attacked some megapharanhas but he died and my parasaur died to from the megapharanhas.

A tale of a baryonx

I had a Barry named fish sticks he was my BEST tame and I loved him and he was stronger then 2 alpha carnos combined and then it all went down… So I decided to do a cave and I did the lava one it was my first time in the lava cave so I said Hey I’ll take fish sticks! And then we went inside and everything was normal I thought It would just be kill some stuff go through the cave get the artifact and go. NOPE I killed everything and I saw the artifact all there was was a small gap between the artifact and me I thought my Barry could jump it but then my Barry hit the wall and bounced into the lava in just enough time for me to dismount I got the artifact and left btw I had a baby Barry named fish sticks x he will carry on the fish sticks legacy till the end of time

2 dilos(lvl3 and 23) a baryonyx(lvl14) vs me with my fist who wins me how did I win with my fist I have no idea but I tame the baryonyx

Tamed a level 145 Bary after it proceeded to kill me and my friend after we decided to use him to tank the hits from the Bary (bad idea). But once we used the Dinopithecus named David stationed conveniently right next to my spawn we used the slowdown from the Dinopithecus’ poop throw to knock out the Bary and tamed it, proceeded to name it Agent B.

Sooooo... I am back. But with bad news. My Ark playthrough got corrupted. Maloi is dead. I am currently saving up to buy Ark: Survival Evolved for the Xbox.

Do not under underestimate these guys i saw a level 2 baryonyx kill a level 29 spino

I was looking around with my new slingshot when I was a noob for good creatures. I saw this guy, really pretty green, level 90. I hopped on a rock and knocked it out! I put in fish meat and wheat it was at 89.4% a spino spawned and killed it and me. Moral of the story don't mess with a spino!

I tamed a lvl 1 a few weeks ago and got it to level 60. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE A TAMED NOT EVEN THAT HIGH LEVEL BARYONYX! With him, I've killed a ton of raptors, a few stegosaurus' a Therizino, a few other Baronyx's, chalicotherium, a carno, and a bronto, never going less than half health. Keep in mind this was all on land, so imagine how much better he is than that in the WATER.

These are also the #1 caving dinos, so you have GOT to get a Baryonyx.

my first time encountering a baryonyx was kinda funny as I was looking at the water (it was night) and I saw a purple drop and I didn’t know what it was so I went to go see what it was (because I was really dumb at the time) and I saw a baryonyx not knowing what it was I went up to it and it took like 5 seconds to notice me and attack me

I will say . . . If you see something in the water . . . DONT GO IN!!!

I have a level 465 baryonx on mobile, 16k hp 1000+ melee and not even mutated or imprinted I use it to kill alphas at carno island .You need these guys they are really good caving dinos,they get a lot of fish, they are really good swimmers and they look really cool

So one time I had just tamed a baryonyx named barry level 62 not the best but had nice colours. when I made the saddle for it I had a test swim and was pretty satisfied. earlier I had been farming narcoberrys with my parasure named berry boi and had set it to follow and forgot about it so in the middle of the ocean I looked behind me and saw the parasure I was surprised by how fast it it had followed me I now realise how lucky I was that there were no sharks or jelly fish. Anyway I got back to my base and made sure to put my parasure.
