Pick them with argy and put them in taming pen they don't attack your pen and put tranq arrows or tranquilizer dart on him and put fish meat or raw prime fish meat only you can get easily raw prime fish meat with 1 min fishing

Make sure to have kibble not fish meat loses to many levels or a soothing balm

Taming these guys isn’t to hard just bola them and shoot them with tranqs or darts in the head.They run so be careful.(when I mean careful I mean don’t run into raptors or tickle chickens)

They only eat fish meat btw

By far the best Dino for underwater base defense. Can stun ppl off any water mount. Including the giant squid!

I love these guys at the same amount I hate them! When in the wild, they will give you a fricking headache when going to any river. But tamed ones are really useful. They are fragile but have a kinda good melee, and their tail attack kinda scares other animals away, even the ones they can't paralyze. I use them whenever going to the ocean. 4 or 5 Baryonixs are enough to help you get ocean recourses, beating up and taming aquatic animals. They're amazing!

Just hold the Bayo with a Wyvern, so someone can shoot safely with arrows :)

In mobile, you can ABSOLUTELY pick a Baryonyx up. No doubt about it, I’ve done it at least a dozen times :)

The two best Dino’s you can use is a thylacoleo or carbonemys and a sarco with lots of health that might take along time to do.

i would recommend trying to lure this Dino into a Bear trap and/or hit it with some bolas once it is on the floor you can hit it with a load of arrows knock it out and tame it

Oh why. Why does this have to happen to me EVERY SINGLE F*CKN TIME. I spawn in sp. I build a nice house. I get some tames. AND THEN A BARY SPAWNS AND KILLS ALL MY TAMES AND EVERY TIME I RESPAWN AT MY BED IT KILLS ME AGAIN. WHY. WHY. WHY. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Good creature for getting tons of fish meat, and silica pearls. I recommend this for a starter water mount, and it will still be good to use later game. A must-tame creature

I have always found bx in the big south river. If you want to get the best cave tame you could want for most of the game, then get

1. 10-15 tranq arrows, just in case there is a high level or you have sheit aim like me

2. A bola or a mount with a good bit of health and you can shoot off its back

3. A calm soul so you don’t crap yourself when it comes at you

Now to explain the way to do this:

It’s a good idea to bring the saddle already made, and the plus of doing it in the river is you can go get some tasty fresh fish- prime fish. My preferred mount is the trike, high health and good weight, as well as the ability of beating the crap out of anything. Then let it attack the trike while you shoot it from on top your mount. It might run, then let it come back. You don’t need to chase it. Then shoot it again, and BAM! You can now actually explore lower south cave after the entrance!

I almost got it but we were close to water so it ran I gave up because it's a quick swimmer then it comes back afterm me

I have got a mutated one and it was fully imprinted and when max I killed every boss it was op

Encountering one will be somewhat easy because they live in the swamp basically around water. And in the redwoods by the volcano.
