There are everywhere one spot I find is in the island at the swap next the south spawn 1 Easy going there now with friends to tame one

While faster than the sarco on land, and its tail attack being very good, I would use this as a sea creature. I know that's sounds weird, but the sarco does not work in the seas. Better as a river/riverbank fighter/hunter.

On Mobile, Easy gamemode: I fought it because I had to (it was near my base) and all you really need if on land is a tame with good health to tank damage (like a higher leveled carbonemys).

(This wasn't actually the case for me, because I had to sacrifice some of my lower leveled tames like my moschops and one of my dodoes, but then again, I wasn't expecting it to spawn all of a sudden.)

Apparently in ark mobile they can still be immobilized by bolas and can be carried by an argentavis

Taming these guys are easy and if on medium level i recommend taming a 100+lvl baryonyx for caves and stuff. Very low attack damage don't forget to invrease that

If you want to do a cave tame one of these 1: they can breath underwater good for an underwater cave

2: Small enough to fit in most small parts of the caves

3: A powerfull creature overall for deleting all of the cave creatures

Other: underwater spin attack stuns medium size creatures and dismounts othe players

Final note:thank you all who saw my tip and üq so more players can do the caves better and fight those bosses!

Ok so I understand that people have a hard time taming these but cmon throw a dodo and put a bear trap on the ground keep some chain bolas at least 20 tranqs and that’s for a high level. I tamed Rudy (my bary) with 3 arrows and a dodo but it was level 7 🤔.BEST FOR CAVES and I caught Rudy in the bay of south zone 1.

Also great for underwater exploration!

Heres to tame one.. 1. Get your tanky tame (mineslolong where he has 1950 hp) 2. Find one 3. Shoot it tranqs while riding your tame 4. When its knocked out feed it fish meat or prime fish meat 5. Wait 6. You got one

Most things a baryonyx can do a sarco can do just as effectively or better here is a list of what they are good for.

Baryonyx:

Pros: fast on land, can fit in almost every cave, has a bigger attack aoe, can stun things in water, can be bola'd and takes less tranqs to tame, can build up speed by spam jumping

Cons: slow in water, slightly weaker, can't stun big dinos (mosa, ect), usually needs a pen to tame, only eats fish, saddle unlocked at a higher level, saddle requires a smithy to craft

Sarcosuchus:

Pros: Fast in water, best turning radius in the game, instantly regains stamina underwater, stronger than bary, lower level saddle, can be "ridden" without the saddle, slow speed when wild makes it easy to tame

Cons: slow on land, small attack aoe, deathroll is kind of useless, can accidentally knock itself out by lunging/deathrolling, takes longer to tame, there is a glitch where occasionally sarcos will die or almost die when they exit water, has a hard time hitting bugs

The best way to tame is to build a trap raft trap it in there knock it out and feed it fish

They are great cave brawlers especially lava cave and swamp! Tame a really low level one for fish then tame a high level one. That’s how I do it

Absulutely amazing tame. Really easy for basilo taming and getting prime fish meat early game. Also they look cool:)

You can bola them, but use tranqs incase it escapes. I recommend taming a good animal to kill fish, like a beaver, it really helps because it is hard to keep up with how fast it eats and taming will decrease if you dont get enough. :)

They can be picked up by argentavis in mobile.

This guy is not a predator, they won't go after you like Raptors for example. They're just territorial, so just don't be next to them and you'll be fine. But specially, DON'T go in the water if you see one, bc it doesn't matter how "weak" they seem to be, they WILL kill you if you're not with a strong dino. DON'T GO IN THE WATER

What’s a good way to knock it down by tanking it

Very good to tame gathers resorces quickly just beware if you are a beginner when I first started I was taming a ichy and it came and killed me and my dodo :(
