I got a 50 in wild, and leveled HP to 200. With a primitive saddle and proper maneuverability, I knocked out a lv 95 terror bird, a lv 115 terror bird, a lv 100 megatherium, a lv 50 rex, and a lv 60 rex. Absolutely outstanding tame for taming with rider weaponry, can chase down most fleeing tames (did not test with yutyrannus because it sounds like a bad idea). My crossbow has about 180 damage, and it can fit through pillars to trap large carnivores, though it’s agile enough to avoid Dinos and strong enough to take a few hits. (Don’t try with giga, and do not follow other bary into water. They’re scared of yutys I think, and stealing wyvern eggs should not be attempted. May be good for Deinonychus eggs since it can’t be latched onto.)

Has anyone experienced this before.

It’s not all day and do nothing and all the sudden all your creatures that eat fish go in the river and start going on a killing rampage for no reason at all.

They were all on full Hunger and I did not put them on aggressive.

Only asking this because this happened to me.

My spino, barry and sarco almost killed themselves by jellyfish.

If you don't have the meanings to tame one of these WALK AWAY, they are faster than an iguanodon in land and if they stun you in the water is a certain death.

If your planning on taming a high level, over level 100,

Bring at least 75 or more depending on what level above 100. DO NOT shoot these Dino’s from a rock. Barry’s are fast as heck and they get away easily. You can bola them but they’re gonna break out before you knock it out. If it is a high level like over 100 like I was talking about earlier, make a trap with doorframes and the ramp if you don’t want it to get away.

Simple Just knock it out with tranq arrowa and put some fish meat and soothing balm in less then 10 seconds it will be yours

Tip for noobs (Mobile) Get a few bolas A Bat And if u have a pachy use that! Helps with torpor And be careful! They are fast! (Do not Try to take it there is more then 1 near Just in case)

When riding a Barry when you jump you get faster and faster every jump until you stop >:)

I just realised this but on mobile when riding these guys by swiping up you can leap at the cost of no stamina!

Dont walk up to it or trap it on foot unless u can out run it dont get in the water with it.

They are one of the best tames. It’s also easy to tame one too!

1: They can jump. It is faster than walking and can be used to escape in a emergency.

2: Health-Pools: You might not get one that has health above 2000 but if you tame one, then upgrade, you might be able to have one above 4000 health!

3: Aquatic Carnotaurs: They swim surprisingly fast (Because it was a relative of Spinosaurus. Suchomimus is also a relative.)

4: They are pretty fast. They go as fast as raptors and if you pump weight and speed, you get a strong, high-damage, aquatic travel mount.

5: They are easy to tame. Just locate one, kill off any carnivore, then use the large bear trap and tranq arrows to knock it out. It only eats fish meat.

6: Fisher-dinos: Like the Spinosaurus, it eats a lot of fish and actually gain health from them so you won’t have to wait a eternity for them to be max health.

7: Stamina is important. It controls how much time you have to run and how much time you have to attack. Guess what the Baryonyx has?

8: They have a stun attack that stuns and deals damage to enemies nearby.

9: They do large amounts of damage and if you upgrade damage a lot, then you can 1-shot Dilophosaurs.

A 100% must get tame especially in packs. Tame it now!

I used my first large bear trap on my a bary and it didn’t trap it but I was fine on health just ran around shooting tranqs with my new crossbow and then all of a sudden it got trapped in the bear trap. Thank goodness I didn’t step on it first! I don’t know why that happened.

The scene of a big "fish" approaching fast made ARK a horror game in just 0.5 second.

Definitely recommend it is amazing for taming underwater dinosaurs that are affected by its stun and are over all is a really swimmer and can travel semi-fast on land only down side is that it is a piscivore which means you can only eat fish but over all a very recommended tame!!!!!

i know this isn't a tip, more of a question but can megalosaurus actually pick up baryonyx?

If you see a baryonyx run ofcorse he eat fish but when he sees you he will drop that dite and eat you

I had a baryonyx and I destroyed the caves with it it’s really good on land and water because of its stun attack and it really quick so you can get away from stuff that you know is to strong for you

Baryonyx is perfect for the lower south cave! They are slim, so any that creates a small and slim space ii will fit (just have to ride it through those parts or struggle coaxing it out). Also it can swim pretty fast. Think of it as a spino for the lower south cave. It can swim fast, run fast, can kill fast, can stun in water, and can jump. It also can breathe underwater (unlike spino)! It has saved me from having to go into the cave again due to megarabies (I'm on PS4 that's why).

Hi. people say you can’t bolla these guys but you can i no on mobal I gust tame a level 300 and I bolla her and then Trank it so you can indeed bolla them I hope this helps and if you don’t believe me try it yourself
