When I came across a baryonyx I literally got scared, but after getting an argy or 6 raptors it was not that strong, but it did kill 2 of my raptors before R.I.P Flash and Beta 😢😢😢.

When battling this creature, it's probably best to jump on a rock or some surface that they can't get to you. From there, you can kill/knock it out quite easily.

DO NOT use these things in the lava cave they will always get plushies in the lava.

Be VERY careful with these things. They're difficult to kill at low player levels, and your best bet is to bola it and book it in the other direction. Unless you've got an ascendant bow and some high ground, you're screwed. And NEVER go into the water with those things nearby; their tail spin stuns you if the Baryonyx is in the water.

I tamed this guy and he was level 160 so I was like now i can gather biotoxins then it went in the water and started fighting a jellyfish then about 6-8 of them started attacking me and I got dismounted he was getting killed so I ran to my rex and came back with it the rex killed everyone and my baryoynx was safe but with only 200 hp

Moral: never fight jellyfish with baryoynx

Don’t get in the water with these crazy mofos They will stun a lv 200 killed my lv 199 tree in a river

It can also outrun you on land unless you have a lot of points pumped into movement speed.

so uhhh somehow the baryonyx in mobile can still be immobilized by bolas but the bolas are not visible in the baryonyx legs (yes you can no longer bola a baryonyx and cannot be picked up by an argy/argentavis)

I was swimming in the river trying to find/tame an otter and than suddenly a baryonyx spin attack me and i cant do anything cuz i got stun it litterally spamed his spin attack at me and i died hope you guys be carefull cuz baryonyx can spam spin attack and the spin attack can stun you

NEVER fight this eel with legs in the water. It is a straight up death sentence!

But, if you desperately want to, take a tame you don’t care about, because trust me, IT WILL DIE.

(If it has 10k health or above, and it’s a shallow river, it MIGHT have a chance)

Fun fact: Baryonyx isn’t the only Dino related to spinosaurus. Two others include suchomimus from Africa and another(forgot the name😬) found in China.

Having a hard time finding a high level , highest I’ve found is 60 on my solo play through. Spent days trying to find 100 plus but when I do it will be a great day. Love these guys.

Guys if you wanna kill these your gonna need about 5 dilos and just hit it once and your Barry is dead
