How to tame a Baryonyx

You will need: 8 doorframes, 1 foundation, 2 ramps, and about 30 tranq arrows

Build a trap with your foundations, doorframes, and ramps

Lure the Baryonyx into the trap

Shoot the Baryonyx with tranqs until it falls unconscious

Saddle up and ride your Baryonyx

Tip: They are a very good multi terrain creature but they are way better in the water and they don’t have an O2 stat

It’s very fast land and water, it knocks you out so don’t go in the water to much because you can drown if you get knocked out. (Learned from personal experience😁😁😁)

To knock out the Baryoyx, you can use a Bola and tranq arrows. After KO, feed raw fish meat, which works better than raw meat.

When searching, look near swamps and rivers. Do not encounter in the water. They are super fast at swimming. Just Bola it as soon as possible.

There was once a 62 level ark player who just got an argy saddle and found a 230 Baryonyx then he decided to trap it in his thatch box that he smelts metal in and has a fabricator in then he put his creatures on passive and went to gather some prime fish for the Barry when he came back he found all his forges destroyed his fabricator all of his electricity destroyed and found his 2 loyal dinos mike 38 trike that was the third thing he ever tamed and Barry level 28 baryonyx dead and with no sign of the baryonyx he felt guilty and while he was griefed he promised himself to kill it nomatter what now he's level 70 and he tamed a dolphin and turns out the level 280 baryonyx went to the ocean he went there with the best crossbow he had to get his revenge and then he killed it knowing that it won't bring his dinos back.. one up for Mike and Barry.

I found a glitch with the Barry if u swim up to land u will fly a little and it is goofy ASF it happens by chance tho so it takes i few tryes

BRUUH THEY OP.I tamed a 300 and bred it with my 234 I GOT A BLUE MUTATION. I named bluebary and I was king of pvp TAME THESE THEY TAKE DOWN LVL300 SPINOS

If you’re looking for Abberant Baryonyx on Crystal Isles they only spawn in the ocean not on land in the snow biome.

On MOBILE you can pick up a Baryonyx with an Argy!

They are territorial in water so keep in mind that on earth it will not attack you unless you attack them

Don’t get to close, it and mega paranas will gang up on you. It killed me and my level 250 proceptadon

Never take on one of these things with a raptor or pack of dilos. It can one hit them and can stun you as you watch them die.😡

You can bola these on mobile even though it doesn’t say in Dododex. I don’t know why

I just tame bary yesterday, i caged her inside the trap and i didn't fees ber for 2-3 day because i thought im gonna make some kibble but I can't wait because she might get hungry to dead and i was right, when i knocked it down, i checked her food and she barely have any percent left, her health is starting to get lower and lower so i quickly go find some fish and feed her in time because she dead

How to tame a Baryonxy First Go to the swamp or redwoods. then look for one. after that knock it out with toxicant arrows. and after you knocked it out feed it raw fish and there u go. I hope this helps Peeps

Yes, you cannot use the bola anymore on this creature, with the mobile version of ark having an exception, you can still bola these guys on mobile.

High levels are pretty hard to find and they spawn in the swamp so using a flyer is almost useless cause you can’t see them from up above maybe try using a Kapro or sarco to find one in the swamp and if you have kibble you probably don’t need narcotics but that depends on the max level in your server.

The baryonyx is probably one of the best games you can get at mid level. They can get fish meat,they are GREAT for pvp. And it even has a pretty cheap salad (saddle). This Dino is perfect for exploring the land and ocean.
