I see your looking to tame a baryonyx here’s how!; 1 supplies, I recommend bringing 50 / 100 narcs depending on the level and what you are useing to tame it, as with any water carnivore, it eats fish, and kibble! So I recommend bringing eithor one of those, however if you feed it normal fish meat it’s the same as regular meat, and prime fish meat works as well as, eh you probably get the point, I recommend bringing a sickle with you for the knockout ill explain a lil bit later. Next on the shopping list is yours truly the forsaken net gun :0 anyway this will be used during the knockout! Pack at least three as baryonyx are very quick creatures! And finnaly to specify what type of mount you will need this is optional because you may be quicker and more maneuverable on foot, but as the baryonyx is too it will be 50/50 you manage to catch up with it! 2 Finding one is pretty simple, they spawn on every map that I know of, and they commonly spawn in swamps, or river canals that have fish spawn points! 3 Knockout, with a net gun this is very simple, when you think the area you are in isn’t safe, if your fast, or you have a good sturdy mount you can shoot from then your best bet is to have it aggro on you and let it chase you to a safer area once ur is a safer taming area, whip out ur net gun and slap it with a net to let it know you mean business next shoot it in the head with a tranq dart, this should be enough to knock out a decent lvled Gary really quick make sure you bring more just in case tho, once it’s out, take your sickle and find some salmon, dispatch them and harvest them using the sickle, this is the best bet on getting prime fish without going to a leedsycths. Kibble works great too! :D congratulations you have tamed a dinosaur with an over extended mouth! But for what reason? Here’s some great thing about the baryonyx!; Very agile, and versatile mounts, this Dino is great for covering a long distance very quickly, very great tame for low levels and moderate level players! Great cave mounts as they can jump! They can also swim quite well, when in the water they have a special attack that stuns anything within the splash range it makes, of course this only works when swimming! They also have a very effective way of healing! They can eithor go to the water and consume fish to heal, or you can manually do it to heal very quickly by consuming live fish! A well rounded out versatile tame, other than the fact it only eats exclusively fish meat or it will starve to death, as fish meat is relatively common, it’s a pretty easy task! Happy taming! More Baryonyx Taming & KO Tips
This dinosaur is a very intricate but interesting dinosaur to get. I did find it near the shore line as it had seen me and wanted to eat me. However I had 5 tranq arrows which you can get at lvl 21. I shot all 5 and he fell to the ground. Very good dinosaur to tame especially in the water. It beats anything in the water even with its stun strike. I recommend using this dino to fight. I have one named Juju. One like equals One love for Juju
You get raw prime fish meat if you use a sickle on a sabertooth salmon, that is faster than the regular fish meat..
They are pescatarians so they only eat fish

Trying to tame one of the most versatile cave dinos in the game? Continue reading! Before we use yet another tame slot, let's prepare for some taming! Here's what you'll want to pack:
DIFFICULTY: 4.5/10 (Fairly Easy)
WHAT YOU NEED:
-Taming Weapon + Ammo: (Bow (Tranq Arrow) Crossbow, (Tranq Arrow), Longneck (Tranq/ Shocking Tranq Darts) )
-Biotoxins/ Narcotics
-Fish Meat or Raw Prime Fish Meat
Alright, now that you're up and ready, let's go!
Now, for taming a Baryonyx, there are a few methods (ok only 2 ik):
METHOD 1: THE TRAP
The usual. However, there are a few modifications to this new trap. Here's what you'll need:
MATERIALS:
-1x Stone Foundation
-8x Stone Doorways
-2-3x Wooden Ramps
NOTE: I will include an extra option for this method, where wooden ramps are not needed.
Now that you have your trap built, lure the Baryonyx into the trap. Start shooting it through the gaps in the doorways until its knocked out. Put raw FISH meat (They do not eat Raw Meat or Prime Meat) in its inventory and wait for it to tame. Make sure to keep an eye on its torpor and feed it biotoxins/ narcotics if needed. However, you can also go and hunt for raw prime fish meat (No megalodon needed) if you have a sickle, where you can harvest prime fish meat from Sabertooth Salmon corpses. Wait a little while and boom! A new Baryonyx!
Now, with the second option:
You can use an Argentavis to pick up the Baryonyx and drop it into the trap, saving you some resources in that you do not need the wooden ramps. Repeat the taming process and boom! Your Baryonyx is ready!
METHOD 2: The Easy Method
The only thing you need for this method is the Bola. Find a Baryonyx (Usually found in swamps which are dangerous, but can spawn along rivers.), get it to aggro on you, and bola it while its running to you. You can try to club him but I would definitely tranq it down. Once its down, repeat the taming process mentioned above and name your new Baryonyx!
Now, onto the utilities of this creature:
UTILITIES:
Baryonyxes are great cave dinos, with decent health, melee, speed and stamina. Although there are better options for different caves, the Baryonyx is the most versatile and is great for most, if not all caves, this is due to their stats and also slender body, allowing it to fit through most slim cracks in caves. Do note that when force fed Raw Meat, the Baryonyx will not heal, but force feeding fish meat will. They also have a AoE ability that only works in water which does a tail spin attack, stunning nearby creatures (Not all of them) and doing damage (It works up to the Megalodon I believe.).

it was easy u just need tranq darts (5-7) and fish

Get on top of a rock and unload shock darts with you buddy!
WARNING They only eat fish meat. When hactching, be ready with multiple fridges of fish meat. Raw is fine the first couple of hours because they are RAVENOUS and it wont have time to spoil
