The Arthropluera is passively tamed by feeding it from behind, with bug repellent and ghillie gear helping prevent aggression; luring it into deep water can make the process safer. It serves as an effective base defender, using ranged acid attacks that damage armor and structures while reflecting damage, and it can also function as a durable, climbing cave mount. When encountered, keep your distance and use ranged weapons, as its acid spit and corrosive defenses make melee combat especially dangerous. In caves or confined spaces, retreat or avoid fighting unless you can protect a strong mount from its attacks.
