if anyone said this sorry but in the primitive days arthroplueras were actually an herbivore but it used its height to tower above the enemies to scare them

I tamed one in the hunter cave when I went to get the hunters artifact, and I lured it into the water and used broth of enlightenment. Guess what cave I did next?

I have a giga to ride now…

U need this no cave dino attackes it so you can farm artifacts and tribute it to an obelisk and grind it in industrial grinder

Not exactly the best combat mount, slow, stamina isn't the best, a little squishy. But a few high levels of these on base defence are pretty good. Put a few in the inner parts of your base (along with the spiders to slow them down) and the will have your enemies armour being melted in seconds!

The only nerf they got is their damn weight.

So, as far as I can tell, arthropluera deal more torpor damage for their melee stat than scorpions. I dont know if scorpions somehow scale better but this is what I have so far

My data so far:

Lvl 23 arthro - 202% melee ~ 170 torpor over a little under 10 seconds

Lvl 21 pulmino - 226% melee ~ 106 torpor over 10 seconds

Both were done in a single hit on a lvl 23 trike. Data is from mobile on easy

PSA (public service announcement) that arthros have NO WEIGHT, hear that? NO WEIGHT. But on mobile this is easily counter-balanced by making it the land Itchysaurus so that means cave creatures and literally anything else just don't care about you, even if u hit them lol

Single player uses:

1. Cave mount: They aren't powerhouses, but they can fit in small spaces and reflect damage back to their attacker.

2. Base defender, "Guard dog": They spit acid, you can have a bunch of them stationed on towers and set to aggressive turret mode.

Killed the spider boss with this handy boys

Can destroy iron and tek walls. No need for c4

This little demon sucks to passive tame and is kind of worth it in pvp but everywhere else besides needing to climb which you can just tame a rock drake or Thyla to climb with this thing is kinda useless in pve

You And put it on aggressive, and it will become a living turret

These things are very important parts of raiding because they can damage any structure in the game

I know people are saying their arthros are getting aggroed on, but the no aggro only works if you tamed it IN a cave. Same with the scorpions. If you tame it outside of a cave, you’re still going to get attacked.

This is by far the best creature to do the Yeti Cave in. It has a little quirk where wild dinos don’t aggro on it

Best thing ever for pvp raids not only will no Dino attack you but you can break tech

Acid spit collects corpses. Maybe bug? Also make sure you bring the saddle into the cave with you, or you will spend many aggravating hours trying to get it to follow you out, as it gets stuck on every little thing.

Pro tip if you are playing on a custom server with boosted breeding you can set up a ledge and under the ledge have a box with a megatherium and have it set to aggressive have a few acs and you'll have a passive chiten farm

Do not believe the comments saying Dino’s don’t aggro onto your tamed Arthro, that is a lie!(on ark:mobile)

High level centipedes are very tanky when tamed due to the acidic blood. This means it is a great Dino to protect the base. Also the spit can harvest bodies and cut down trees from far away. Can use as a quetzal defense Dino. Just set to turret mode.
