So you are going to want to go to the cave in the middle of the islands and I’d recommend bringing at least 2 bug repellent. Just stay away from the Ovis and Araneo. Clear out any snakes or scorpions as the repellent won’t work on them. Once cleared, find a good Arthropluera. Inch forward until it says feed, I’d recommend spoiled meat, as it is easy to obtain and works just fine. And there you have your own Arthropleura

Ghillie suits are not necessary but they help bug repellent is enough.

Just ride spider or scorpion and passive tame this Arthropluera with spoiled meat. (Works on ark mobile)

In order to tame an arthropluera you might want some bug repellent on you and some spoiled meat if you don’t know how to make the blue soup stuff, equip some gillie armour and find it than just feed it

Idk why people act like it's hard to tame I did it without armour, all you need is a bow to kill snakes and scorpians, some bug repellent so spiders will leave you alone, then just find one you wanna tame and feed it, it's pretty simple

The easiest way by far is to pick it with an argy, wyv, or quetzal and drop it into a 1x2 that’s 2 walls high. It won’t move/aggro and it will poke through the wall allowing you to feed it.

I think there is a bug rn because when I went to tame it would get to about 80% then rapidly start dropping and wouldn’t let me feed it until it got back down to 50% and I literally could not tame it.
