Please bring full cloth armor when entering caves!

They have a serious armor damage buff!

Those who say it's very dangerous are crazy. Just bring a long neck rifle, one shot or two and boom. The first time I entered the South Cave, I tamed an scorpion and it significantly helped me to take care of the Arhtros and Boas.

Most of the creatures have arrows in their loots, so if u prefer a ballesta to deal with these bad boys, you are not running out of ammo any soon.

One of the best weapons to kill it is a ascendant pump shot gun

Range weapons do more damage to the Arturo for etc:Guns,bows

It’s armor is tough meaning if u attack it with a meelee weapon it will break easier.

With a full riot mastercraft armour he managed to get my health to half before I could kill it and I have 444 health

Tip for killing these things without breaking your armor and sword:

-use your BOW, aim at its HEAD because it's exposed and it's the weak spot, it sure works because it's a feature.

Jusy keep a distance, if you hit it with a melee weapon it's thick armor will just break or damage it pretty badly, also your armor when it bites you

When you enter a cave use bug repellent on you and your dino and only thing that attacks are the scorpions and the titanboa

When it spits all armor brakes even tek armor

Probably a good idea to apply the same rule for fighting Onycs, that is, avoid melee. Their acid can hit you on smaller mounts you would usually bring in caves. They can be hard to spot in water and against uneven cave walls, but their oil-puddle-like iridescence can give them away if you look hard enough.

You see it run the other way. It will melt anything and everything.

Desmodus can pick these things up. And they can't spit on your armor while picked up. It's useful for moving them to a spot you can tame them easier.

If you ever find it do not try to melee it to death

Just use a ranged weapon as it's much easier and won't eat through your armour

Other than that everything can be meleed with ease

Just bring some stim berries and water

Do not tame multiple at once

Choose the highest level one

If you tame multiple at the same time they will agro at the one you tamed

You don't have the time to cryopod it

When you ride it on mobile it makes a horrible noise. (In my opinion.)

Do not enter the caves where these idiots live and if you do just run like hell until you get out of the cave

People always bring their best set of armor into the caves "just in case" don't do that, DON'T, do that.

These guys are annoying! I would recommend a pump action shotgun to kill these busters. To tame any old crosse bow or long neck with their knockout ammo is good enough, these fellas are found in caves. They are very strong. Their breath attack can destroy Tek!

These are a good tame for raids, after you soak the turrets, use these to break the walls or use c4, or both!

I can kill these with a saver tooth or wolf so it’s easy in a cave
