Best ways to kill it

1- covardly use a bug repelant and attack covardly the arthopreula, you can prepare before to attack

2- use a asault Rifle Or shotgun or shotgun 2.0 or good ranged gun (I use a ascedant Longneck rifle)

3- granadas or explosives

4- melee guns (not recomended)

Use too a shield to protect from the acid spit

It is the best mount in caves (besides megalosaur) they can climb .they can t get attacked by other creatures.also can spit acid .can destroy buildings.

Tame another rideable cave creature in a cave, perferably a scorpion, as then you can go in without bothering anybody on the scorpion, and tame an arthro easy peasy

Each like KILLS an arthropluera!!!

If your still a new player in ark they will kill you and i sujest a name:killer worm

Tame arthropluera in caves only if you tame it in Obelisk by reconstructing by amber you not get his stealth benefits 😭😭

An easy way to tame/kill it is bring it into the water using a argentavis or wyvern and then kill it or tame it there.

Unlike raptors it takes a long time for their attack to damage you once they get in attack range, they have to charge their head back and then strike you which takes a little less than 2 seconds, they also stand still during this attack animation which gives you time to simply move out of the way.

Also you shouldn't use melee weapons against it cause it will deal 20% of the damage to you back through armor, and also severely damage the melee weapons durability. It's way more worth it to use crossbows or firearms.
