These guys are annoying! I would recommend a pump action shotgun to kill these busters. To tame any old crosse bow or long neck with their knockout ammo is good enough, these fellas are found in caves. They are very strong. Their breath attack can destroy Tek!

These are a good tame for raids, after you soak the turrets, use these to break the walls or use c4, or both!

Put it under the water and boom you got it just feed it

I use araneo to ta it: sneak to artho and feed them and it's tamed

Water calms them if you make a 3x3x3 tall in shallow water drop it in with wyv passive tame with spoiler meat tames very quickly and decent lvl ones

I can kill these with a saver tooth or wolf so it’s easy in a cave

In the south cave there is water lure them to it and use spoiled meat to tame them in water they will stop attacking you and just chill use a 10x balm on a 150 its like a 2 minute tame they also don't have oxygen so it's easy

These guys will break your armour very quickly, so when going in a cave, make sure you enter on a mount (if you can) and wear hide armour. Then, bring some fiber with you. You will be able to get hide in the cave, so when these guys break your armour, you can repair it quickly.

Use these for raids, easily destroy metal structures like vaults and even tek.

Arthros can clip through railings, so instead of having to go around rails you can just go through them (official Xbox)

easy tame, just use an araneos or a pulmonoscorpius to passive tame it without worrying about aggro.

I'm gonna say it plain, get bug repellant, eat it, and feed it meat.

Swap your armor with hise incase it's spit touches you. Stay back, don't fight up close, and dodge it's spit at ALL COSTS!

Don’t put it in a taming pen. My pen just broke when I put it in.

Stay away from them unless you are properly because the shred through any armour. It broke three of my ghillie pieces in literal seconds.

Though the broth is kinda hard to get, ( 1 black pearl, 5 rhino horns, citronal, rockarrots, savroot, longrass, fiber, mejos and the waterskin ) these guys are OP. First, their spit. Though I’ve never really played on servers and so have never seen a raid, I know that these guys are perfect for raids. The spit deals 35x the amount a regular attack would do, so it rips apart even journeyman flak. Then, their overall ability to break EVERYTHING. Stone, metal even goddamn TEK will be broken by these guys! Even the giga and titan can’t break those things! And lastly, the yeti cave. Known as the hardest cave on the island due to the yeti inhabitants and the creature level limit pass in there, the arthro’s ability to be completely ignored, even when attacking things, it does the job. Arthros should be an 100% definite tame. No matter whether you want one or not!

One of my friends ran into one of these in a cave with fully durability riot armor. It was gone in one hit...

How do you tame this. I tried trapping it and making it passive by leading it into water but that did not work. Camouflage did not work either. Is this hard to tame or am I dumb? Btw, I play on mobile

For those of you unaware, these guys are actually fairly easy to tame if you can handle the damage. First, you need to survive long enough in the south cave to encounter them, and then when they notice you, bait them into the water. Once they are submerged they will calm down just about instantaneously, making them tameable. Just be careful not to come into physical contact with them or they will become angry again.

Kills you slowly with poison and damage your armor too much.Dont use close range weapons like sword.
