Tips & Strategies

What are tips for arthropluera? Tips and strategies for arthropluera in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
These guys can destroy your armor and weapons, so it's best to let your tames kill them. They can and will destroy your gas masks and hazmat suits regardless if it is vanilla gear or leathal's reusables mod gear. They become a lot more troublesome for player exploration in Aberration as they are frequently found in the blue and red zones. Taller dinos are more likely to keep you from being hit.
Apparently these things are very dangerous. My therinzino disagrees. Carry a theri on you to protect yourself and he’ll slash it up like nothing.
I would recommend trying to tame raptors because they fit into the cave and can protect from the bugs
Make sure ur armor is strong because this will destroy ur armor really quick
To tame these guys we will need to feed them Broth of Enlightment, Spoil meat or Raw meat but I suggest Spoil meat if you are not that rich to spend some black pearls for this tame and using spoil meat is not that bad though combine with 1 smoothing balm will make it as good as using Broth of Enlightment. For the taming progress you could either using bug repellant(needed) and the ghilie amour(not really needed) try to approach it from behind and feed it when ever its hungry and or you could use a more complex way but extreme reliable is by tame something from the cave like scorpion(suggest) or araneo and then use that tamed to approach the centipede it won't aggro at all so you just need to sit on your mount and keep feeding, it would be great if you combine with smoothing balm, after you its tamed since it also a cave dino still nothing will aggro on you guys, y'all could just go like a boss of the cave all the way to the surface 😂
If you pick them up with a wyvern and drop them in the water, you can feed them as they are swimming back. sometimes they will stay where you drop them and not drown. they break metal with ease and anything under
Put it barely underwater with a wyvern and it will never agro and you’re friend can tame it
Don’t waste your flak. Use chitin armor when taming these guys.
If you're in early game and planning to run the south cave and snatch the hunter artifact, these things are the ones to worry about. They will absolutely obliterate your puny hide armor and even flak doesn't stand a chance and even worse, like every other cave dweller, they can knock you out. I play on mobile so if you play on PC, watch out for megalania (komodo dragons that give you covid and ambush you from the cave ceiling) i have a primitive shotgun and i mainly fight with my carno in the cave and i haven't tried fighting them with a carno but im pretty sure a strong carno or bary can take on an arthro. i took care of 2 arthros with a shotgun and a primitive shotgun deals 64×10 damage (640 damage total) and the shotgun is a double barrel so
640 × 2 = 1280 damage. so the shotgun is your best friend in the caves to deal with spiders, scorpions, and other cave dwellers. good luck stealing the artifact!
Ok so i need help taming this. I tamed one already but it died due to 3 spiders a one of these. I cant get it alone or else it will die. Plz help me
If you play on mobile TAME ONE. These guys are broken af, the don’t get attack by any thing and I mean any thing. The only time some thing will attack you is where you use the melee attack or attack with your own weapons. You can go into caves with this thing get the artifact and leave. If some thing Argos on you while your getting the artifact, don’t get back on cause they keep attacking.
Tame one of these as fast as u can they eat spoiled meat and can damage stone metal and tek!
These are amazing raiders
And you will never have to use c4 again!!
This thing annihilate armor so be careful
Update-anything neutral bit/spat in the face by them turns instantly passive
Doe any other carnivore will only aggro on them when hit
(You must be riding the arthropleura in order for this to work)
Instantly destroys ascendent flak. Warning, ya know?
