Pro tip if you are playing on a custom server with boosted breeding you can set up a ledge and under the ledge have a box with a megatherium and have it set to aggressive have a few acs and you'll have a passive chiten farm

You cannot knock these out don’t try you will just kill it I advise to take a megalosaurus and pick it up and put it and a stone two by six with walls three high and ceilings Then put a Dino gate on one side and feed it through the walls. GL happy taming

Arthros are fun in a way, but they are slow as hell. But heck, their spit can go a rather long way and can last long too......

Great tame for cave runs!!! 😁 Especially the cave of the Strong where basically every animal is maxed levels. Nothing will agro on these things (dire wolfs, onyc, yetis, etc) so you can basically just run the cave of the strong without having to deal with any of the things in your way other than the cold which I recommend pelt armor with healing potions (many) 😁

I TRIED TAMING IT! I lured three into the water so I can choose which I'll be taming together with Araneos and Scorpions but,NOOOO! IT STARTS SPITTIN' AT ME LIKE CRAZY EVEN IF I'M UNDERWATER WITH MY SABER! It destroyed my chitin armor with two shots and I literally screamed while dodging its spit attacks! In the end, I killed 'em all! *sniffs*

to easily tame a high level centipede go to ragnarok desert with argen and drop it in a stone

foundation box with walls you can feed it through the wall and it will not see you. why do people bother taming these on other maps?

Dodo is wrong about amount of tranq arrows needed (crossbow). Lvl.19 arthro, it states 1 headshot or 3 hits. It took me about 15 and it died, thankfully. Boy did I freak out after the fifth arrow... I was running naked in the woods

Don’t go into places infested with these it don’t matter how good your loot is they break your armor hella quick so beware

These guys will spit on you and poison you so when spelunking watch out. When you get spat at, it breaks all armor below chitin. They are only found in caves

I just tamed one of these guys and it's pretty meh with everything except cave runs

Useful for raids carry one in a cryopod and throw it out at someone’s base bye bye to their tek wall.

These are actually great for all the caves except for the Northwest one I haven't had any luck getting anything to fit!

These are like the best tame in the game. They are super easy to tame but most importantly the stealth thing I’d god! I did all of the caves with this, you don’t have to do anything just skitter by a Rex and it won’t even care!

I revived mine at an obelisk and they are pretty scary to tame tbh. Had to bring 2 bug repellants one for my argy that i left behind a rock in case i aggroed the arthro and had to run. Idk about it in caves but if revived they will move around unpredictably while taming. Approach it from the side to feed it, its feeding hitbox only works on its upper half so you cant feed it from the tail but going for the head is also pretty bad because when it moves again its probably going to touch you and start attacking

Tame 50 have two walls on your base have three gigas and those fifty then no one is getting in your bed

What you need: Spoiled Meat/Broth, Cryopod.

Go to the bottom of the lake in the south cave and they will be down there. They don’t move or attack when in the water. Feed it and cryo it and run like hell outta there.

Guess what! In real life, the arthropleura was a docile herbivore that would only attack if provoked!
