Be warned if there are other Armadoggos in the area the moment you finish taming the one you want, the rest will turn and attack your new tame before you can put it in companion mode (aka immortality mode).

They spawn in the Sanctuary in packs for those asking where to find them.

To tame them you drop the food they sniff it and once they start eating it pet them don’t take too long or they will burrow

The guy that says the effectiveness is due to how many times you initiate its feeding is incorrect. You can put multiple pieces of food down. Once it eats once it will burrow into the ground if you do not pet it repeating the process all over.

Armadoggo can spawn with babies or juveniles to claim so kill the parent and claim the baby, then pod it and go if you don't happen to have time or taming food on you to mess the with an adult armadoggo. ✔️

Back away from the parent as you attack so the baby(or juvenile) doesn't get damaged. Transfers the hassle of getting one over to raising it instead. 😆

We just tamed a level 95 with prime I think it took 6 prime and it came out at level 118 official pve was 19.5% per pet on prime meat

You have to kill everything around it because it agros onto everything but now you use meat or it's favorite kibble and drop it and when it starts sniffing and goes to the meat or kibble you drop and when it eats it pet it BTW the more you drop the better it will probably tame instantly.

Drop Regular Kibble on the ground several times to tame it (there might be more but regular kibble is reccomended)

On extinction I found them outside the South Gate. Drop meat on the ground after it sniffs the meat for a bit pet it to tame. Repeat until finished

Throw the meat on the floor, wait for it to sniff and eat, pet it, it will bury itself and dig up not far away, repeat until it is tamed. I think him must be 1 when they 2 or more, will attack you.

I have lost a lot of tames to packs of wild armadogos. I dont think any of them are a good boy anymore. They act similar to morilotops. Only attack when in groups but once in groups they act like the defence units killing lots of creatures....or at least trying to.

Did they change how long it takes to tame one? I tamed one on day 2 release of extinction with raw meat and it only took a out a half hour with 0 taming efficiency. Now dododex Says like 2 and a half hours for raw meat tame

It’s best to tame them with superior kibble by tossing it out at the Armadoggo and then you will need to pet it and you then will have tamed it. No need to take it out with darts.
