Captain Fat Dog has a extremely cheap trap, just tamed a level 140 with it!

So i keep trying to tame them ysing the Fars Peak metjod (where you lure them into Fars Peak so they have a hard time escaping) byt when they are out and taming, i sometimes have to leave for water or smt and when i return they're gone. Ive looked everywhere. And i know they havnt woken up because the torpor was going down EXTREMELY slow and i wasnt gone for more than a minute. Does anypne know what is happening?

Get a parachute and jump off a cliff while shooting

I hit it with a club twice and it fell asleep then proceeded to die to a dilo level 2

If you want an easy argy just kill the parent then adopt the baby

A tip I cam give is when you have you're strap all set agro an army whit a low level pteronadon use the pt as a sacrifice otherwise he might kill ur other dinks nearby

Listen to me. Taming these things are easier than it looks.

you will need:

5-10 tranq arrow (probably won’t need this much, but just in case)

meat (any kind)

10x soothing balm (optional unless you wanna stand around for forever)

Flying mount (optional as well)

how to do this:

I got my argy at the redwoods next to that mountain, so I suggest looking there!

Step 1. find an argy (duh)

Step 2. get the argy to aggro on you (hit it with your mount!)

Step 3. lure it away from dangers and other argys (they WILL get you)

Step 4. shoot it with a tranq arrow! (It only took me 3 for it to go down)

Step 5. once unconscious, give it the soothing balm (if you have one) and the meat!!

Step 6. wait for it to tame

annnd… boom! you have an argy! good job!!

Use tranq arrows or tranq darts

Alot of players use traps unlike me what I did was

1. Find a Argen

2 shoot it with tranq arrows using a crossbow

3.when it started to run away a chased it with my Pteranodon and keep attacking it

4.when it was close to the ground I keep shooting it with tranq arrows using a crossbow

5.then put food on its inventory and waited

Here's a tip for you: It's really big, so it won't go into a Trap and if you have doors, make sure you have like tech doors and make sure to shoot them with trank arrows really big tip.

Best way to tame:

(HIGHLY PREFERRED)

3 stone dino gates, place each in front of the other with about 1 human width between eachother. Place a door on one of the outer gateways, lure argy in and close door behind you. Run back around and place the 2nd on the open end, you have trapped it. Have around 200 tranq arrows to be safe, it can't escape through side or roof holes. But shoot it through either, knock out. Use small amounts of narcotics, preferably use prime meat to tame. And if you don't have a saddle already, use crypo pod and RUN they're found near other argies or other carnivores. Easier to do with 2 people. You're welcome
