Feed it raw meat on mobile and it will take 2 seconds trust me I just tamed one it took 2 shots from a longneck and 2 or 3 seconds with raw meat. No joke.

2 - 3 Tranq arrows will successfully knock out an argentavis. Then, I gave the bird several pieces of meat and several types of berries. I left it and did other tasks. Came back a while later and it was tamed. I've done this 3 times successfully.

Don't go for food when it is unconscious because if you go then it will disappear. I tried 4 argentavis and 3 are disappeared the 4 argentavis is now mine.

Hi I don’t know if this is old news, haven’t played in a few months, but I hopped back on for extinctions release on ascended and the argentavis as well as other creatures such as the doed seem to now have headshot multipliers.

It should be easy to knock out

When knocking out, if you see two that you want to tame (like a breeding pair), just knock one out, give it food, and if the trap is large enough to prevent them from escaping, you can lure the second one in and knock it out while the first tames. Boom! You have two argys in one trip!

I don’t know why people don’t do this it is the easiest way to tame a argy find a good level argy shot it to get it to come at you when it gets close net gun it and when it falls to the ground put stone gates and at the end of the gate path way they all have to face the same way thin put some gates so to cant get out and tranq it and feed it some kibble

If out of tranq. arrows you can actually just knock it out with a slingshot. It’s pretty easy to tame: just give it raw meat or prime meat (or actually kibble if you want it quicker) and a bunch of narcotics. Ta-daa! You tamed an Argy
