Use a fast mount (e.g sabertooth, igaunadon). Use crossbow with tranq arrows. Get it agro from far away, keep firing and when it gets close run away on your mount. Try and knock it out on a relatively flat surface. Kill other argentavius with your long neck rifle for prime meat if you’re impatient like me.

Make a simple tarp out of 3-5 dino gates spaced apart as so the large can't fit through but a player can, place a gate at either end, lure an large in with either a pteranodon or just yourself and get someone else to shut the door, simply shoot tranqs through the gaps until its knocked out, and have fun with your knocked out arge 😁

I found a way to tame argy easily firstly trap it and then kill something and drag that body to argy and when the argy eat it the regeneration skill of argy will start then you have to knock the argy while the argy is using the skill when the skill is used argys food drains very quickly when the argy gets knock give him food and enjoy yor argy hope you find this useful

If you wanna tame high lvl argentavis just make trap with 5 dino gates in a row and 2 dino doors on both ends. Then you just need to trap him and knock him.

You just cant have enough of them.

How I Tame Argys (works every time)!

Step One: Make 4 or 3 stone dino gate frames. Must be stone or else the argy will break free!

Step Two: Make 2 reinforced dino gateways. Must be reinforced or else the argy will break free!

Step Three: Place your dino gates in single file, at least one opening for you to escape from is required. Ensure that the opening is small enough so the argy can’t fly through, but big enough that you can walk through. (This is easier than it sounds).

Step Four: Place one of the dino gateways at the back of your trap. Keep the other in your hot bar.

Step Five: Lure the argy into the trap by hitting/shooting it, place the door at the front of the trap when the argy is inside the trap. Finally, escape.

Step Six: Tame your argy!

You can cool eggs down without an air conditioner by submerging them in a body of water and quickly picking them up again. The mountain tip will also work. I imagine your location is too hot, maybe wait till you've move to a cooler location before breeding again?

*BEST taming way* I found a 180 (that’s my wild max) then, lure it to your trap (4 Dino gate ways closely placed) when you lure it in close both opposite gates and escape (on ptrandon or barefoot out the slips), tranq dart it took me like 50 or sum) When unconscious starve a bit, then feed it prime meat, I got a 267 perfect js 269 if you want that make a ton of kibble but it’s a waste of time lol, have fun.

I found the eggs to need constant monitoring for the 45min incubation and I had 4 campfires going on and off every few minutes. Great utility bird
