They are great early tames, because they can carry over 500 pounds at level 60, they have a lot of steam, and they can pick up other small tames. They also have a smithy built into their saddle, allowing you to build and repair on the fly. The easiest way to tame takes 2 people, so I will describe that one first one person flies a pteranodon, while carrying another person in said pteranodon's talons. When you find an argy, get into its agro range. This is the hard part. The person being carried must shoot the argy, but can only do so without hitting the pteranodon when the pteranodon is flying straight up. The argy will follow the pteranodon straight up, and the person on the bottom can shoot it with a crossbow (seggested) or longneck or whatever. Argies usually com in twos, threes, or even fours, but this is an advantage to you. Kill the other argy/argies, and harvest them with your pteranodon. They will likely drop prime meat, and this will quickly tame the first argy. up 4 another.

If you have flyers disabled in genesis. Forcetame them even if there already tamed so that you can fly. Trust me it works. Up .this so people see

Use 4 stone gateways and 2 dino gates and trap the argy make shure u can run out and the trank it until uncontions and starbe till about half way low then feed

You must use tranq darts or these guys might die.

Argentavises eat corpses of dead animals so kill any animal that’s relatively close to it. It will be circling it for about a minute and you should have your chance to tranq it with darts or arrows or any other methods that you choose to use

Build a 2x3 cage out of wood or stone on a raft and leave 1 space on the roof then agro the argentavis and place the last roof tile and k.o then you can drive it to where ever you want to tame it.

So if your lucky you'll find a smart bird that if you die it either comes back to you or stays in the air were you died so it doesnt get killed.

Be carful when taming if you leave it for a minute at the least it will disappear I was taming my first one and it was lvl 23 I left to go get some fibre and when I came back it was gone please upvot e so new players can see

Please change the knockout numbers. It takes much more to knock it out.

When ya find one do dis stuff in dee riaght order.

1.Chuck 10 bolas at em

2.start chucking tranq grenades and shooting tranq darts.

3. When it’s fast asleep give it some cupcakes.

4.chuck an apple at it, so if it wakes up it will look at it and go oh wa is this, a grenade. Oh so I wil gust pull dis ring sticking out of it and den 5 seconds later the army blows up. That’s what I doo

Trap with three Dino gates and knock out with horse to not waste tranqs

Nig nig beater at night bring narco and tranqs but bring a lot and if possible a saddle

At first I didnt know Bolas didn’t work on Argys..Welp. I went full on psycho, charged head in and shot it 6 times in the head. It was lvl 11 and it got knocked out after 6 shots, But please be careful with T.Arrows as they can easily kill ur Argy since it left him on 68 HP ;-; I tamed another argy later on and it left it on 154 HP. (Lvl 18) so please keep that in mind and don’t go psycho on the poor argy like me. I DO NOT RECOMMENT FACING AN ARGY HEAD ON LIKE MEH! Im just a stupid daredevil ;-; but it is possible, I didn’t take much damage. Just that my armor broke and i almost froze to death. I found a lot of argys’ in the RedWoods. Good Luck!

Fastest way to tame arge(kill an animal like raptor,saber tooth etc.wait for arge to eat dead animal one u see green gas knock before it gas or healing smoke out.if smoke is still show while knock quickly feed meat takes seconds to tame..........if smoke out before knock out I guess u have to wait till it done

Lead on down from the mountains into a trap. That trap is a bunch of Dino gates lined up with one person on the ground. Only put actual gates on the end gates. Fly through have the ground person close the gate behind you then close the other gate. Then when it is trapped tranqu it. Hope this helped

How to instant tame Argentavis:

Use a fast mount (e.g sabertooth, igaunadon). Use crossbow with tranq arrows. Get it agro from far away, keep firing and when it gets close run away on your mount. Try and knock it out on a relatively flat surface. Kill other argentavius with your long neck rifle for prime meat if you’re impatient like me.

Use toxic arrows instreadnof tranq arrows :)

Once trapped in a dino gate trap, use tranq arrows carefully untill the argy starts trying to run, then throw a dead dino such as a dodo or monkey and let it eat it, then light it up with tranqs till its knocked out. When the argy is KOed its hunger will have diminished to a almost starving level, go kill some dinos that drop prime meat, you have about 4 minutes to get the meat and feed the argy, this is the most efficient way and it also adds to your tame effectiveness leveling the argy even more.
