I know a lot of people know this but for the people that don't, when an RG eats a quart so he gets a healing buff that drains hunger quickly. Now I'm going to tell you how to use this to your advantage, when your RG starts to torpor run, kill small Dino that you can drag and drag it to your RG so that it eats it and then try to knock it out in the amount of time that it has its healing buff, around 20 second. Once you have knocked out your RG put your tanning food in and it will quickly eat it. because it's food is drained almost completely, if you aren't able to knock it out in this duration of time does timing method won't work.

Argys are easy to knockout but you need a lot of narcotics you could just use the bow from the dilo hunt achievement just make sure it’s alone they will swarm you.

I breed Argentavis’s it’s pretty hard because they need a cold area for there egg so all you need is three Dino gates and doors then put them kinda near by then get them to fly right at you then lead them towards you and make them fly in the trap then you feed them meat and then wait for them to tame up then you have an Argentavis!I hope you liked my taming & Knock out tip😁

I didnt know him cause of im a beginner..... But its easy to tame and its the best dino i have ever seen.... Its fast and it can carry that much... I like it...

If you are midgame and need rcc get one. Weight reduction + flyer + good weight + doesnt get cold + carry and damage at same time for easy kills. Main downside is the speed (very slow) and the spawn location (inbetween 3 big mountains so allos, gigas, raptors, etc can interfere).

Easy trap:

-4-5 stone dino gateway in a line so that enough rom for you to fit but not argy

-2 reinforced dino gates on end of line of gates

-open 1 gate

-lure argy into trap on foot

-when argy is in run out through gaps in the gates

-close the open door

You are done but for starve taming:

-place sleeping bag

-sleep while argy is trapped (if argy is low health it might starve so maybe put some dead dodos or dilos in for heal effect)

Knockout tame with raw prime, kibble, or normal raw meat

I suggest using soothing balm for speedy taming

My level 150 argy (Olive) took like 5 seconds to tame with soothing balm and like 20ish meat after this method

The only issue with taming for me was finding them alone and with easy access to taming food

3 stone gate ways with 2 gate doors. Stone gates don’t block spawns. Place in safe area spaced enough apart a snow owl can get through (if new with no snow owl use a owned argy as you place to check to make sure argy doesn’t fit through. If no argy just space it a little bigger then what your player can run through) kill dinos for prime meat while taming.

If you kill something let them eat it while you shoot tranks at it and when it knocks out you need at least 30 things of meat.

Argentavis's are better off fed prime meat or kibble. Do not a large majority listen to these people, they are somewhat wrong. Go on yt and build a taming cage. Stone gateway, reinforced gate, 6 ceiling, 6 foundation, 16 doorways, and thats all youll need for the cage. Any material. Use a tranq dart or arrow. Also pairing them with an Anky, u can get metal, obsidian and crystal easily. I recommend you use a PT. But for SE use a Kapro. With the Kapro lead it down a mountain and put it in the cage, someone or u close the gate. Then knock it out. Kill carnos for the prime meat, its easier than everything else besides kibble. Many people here are stating tips that have 0 logic and also are saying things that make it complicated. My guide is opinion wise better than many people here. Please /\ it if this helped a lot more than the others.

To the person that said ‘ Real men knock it out with slingshots and tame it with cooked fish meat’, only idiots do that…..

Things you shouldn’t use to tame one.

Ascendant crossbow with tranqs (it dies)

Don’t chase it and knock it out on water ( it dies)

Don’t be on foot when going to a argy spawning area ( u die)

Make sure your dinos are on passive (If there aggressive they go angry)

To TAME ARGENTAVIS...

First make a 4 gates like this |||| at the end near both side put door open one door and use ur ptera to let it follow u into the gate and close the gate when the arge is in btw the gattes should have small space that petra can get out after knocking it out with tranq arrows wait for it to starve or use kibble if ur starve taming it u need prime meat like 6-12 prime use it and there u go ur argentavis is tamed...

I tamed two in 5 minutes what you do is kill a bunch of stuff I am a high level so I kill a Rex and Argentavis then you shoot one and lead it to your body pile and let it get it’s eating buff it looks like green crosses above it,then knock it while it’s got the buff and load a bit of meat and BOOM you got an Argentavis.

Easy tame on multiplayer just get tranqs meat narcos and a crossbow go near volcano and tame it there then ask someone to make a saddle if u give mats to make there no need to waste gc -sly gold aka paperboy

Its a easy tame

first find one (redwood, mountains, and snow biome).

Hit it with a normal arrow and kite it away (all those places are really dangerous btw)

When in a safe place, just knock it (however u want)

(also its really easy. I tamed my fisrt one at level 22 thanks to raptors carring around bows and tranqs)

Wind Storm was my favorite/first ever flying tame and he was AMAZING 🤩. But when I died one time I respawned and it said that he got killed😭 If you don’t up yet a meany

When you're taming one of these guys make sure you look out for Rex's, I just got attacked by two Rex's and they killed my argy
