If you don’t have a flying tame thier quite a pain to tame because unless you have a base in the north it’s a very long trek

guys I have a question, I found a lvl 120 argy I killed some dimorphodons with my ptera and I agro'd the argy on me and took it to the bodies, it ate them and I was shooting it with arrows while it was doing that, it started running and I knocked it out, but the healing aura thingy that it had went away, but it was fine because I had 10x soothing balm, the end now can someone make an argy get the healing thingy and knock it out to see if it still keeps the healing thingy because mine didn't, please and thank you. - Ark fan

To tame it, build a raft with a basic trap on it (i recommend making out of stone bc they cant break it).

Next, find a rg away from a pack and put all your stuff in a storage box. After that you need to lead one straight into the trap, then grab your tranqs and start taming.

Just in case you are in an unsafe place as long as you hv a bed on the raft you can keep respawning and harvesting your dead body.

You can drive the unconscious rg home, but be careful for sarcos or whales.

(INSTANT TAME GUIDE)If you shoot tranq arrows, wait for it to flee and then give it a dead body to kill while it has high torpor. It will get rapid regeneration for 20 secs ( green essence on the head) if you knock it out while it has this green essence you can instant tame as the food is depleted instantly.

Flung a chain bola at one and it only took 7 tranqs to fill up its torpor. You can find these guys around the volcano and southeastern and other places on the island they are pretty common except for southwest zone

Your basic ramp trap minus the ramp and plus the gate with ceilings. 2x2x2 is fine, just remember to set your gate to auto open-close. When done placing the whole thing down, pick up one of the frames on the sides. Kite it with a ptera-size flyer and fly out of the opening you’ve made. Taming it without a trap is basically a death sentence unless you have a griffin as it will fly away and never return. Stays down for a long time.

DODODEX IS WRONG! I USED NORMAL CROSSBOW WITH TRANQ ARROWS ON A LVL 120 ONE, SPENT AROUND 25 ARROWS, AROUND 10 STRAIGHT TO THE HEAD AND IT JUST DIED!!!

All you have to do is search up how to make a agry trap on YouTube tame .

Walk backwards, and shoot arrows at the argy’s head.

If attacks, move to the side very quickly to not be directly hit/hit at all,

Once it torpor runs I suggest a flying mount to chase it down back to land, dismounting and mounting to shoot.

Once it’s out, Kill everything in the area for meat and for safety. (Raptors, Etc.)

And boom , Fly/request it back home. - A beginners guide for even people in level 40 to tame.

If you really want to tame cheapes way possible, let it agro you then shoot it in head. Thats what i did. Just a primitive bow and some randomly looted tranc arrow from titanoboa did the job.

To tame an argy first find one.They spawn in the snow area.BUT if u still don’t have fur armory to go get in otter if u still don’t have an otter.Argys spawn in the middle of the red woods mountain.U can trade them or tranc em out by walking under them and fast so it can’t get in then keep trancing it I do that

DUDE I JUST STARVE-TAMED ONE OF THESE. I ALMOST DIED BUT EVENTUALLY I SHOT HER ENOUGH TIMES TO KNOCK HER OUT. SHE LANDED IN THE WATER BUT WAS STARVING AND I HAD 37 PEICES OF RAW MEAT, SO SHE WAS TAMED BEFORE SHE COULD DROWN.
