U can instant this can save hours get into trap tranq it do its running from u or check it’s torpor with a mag glass when it’s 1 or 2 hits away from being knocked out put a body under it like a Dino body your out a bed down and kill yourself wait for it to eat the body might take a few minutes but when it does eat the body light it up with tranqs while it has the green effect if u knock it out while it had the green affect it’s food will go down by a lot and I mean a lot more then enough to instant tame

I knocked one out after it got the regen buff from something I killed for meat, tamed in about 20 seconds, maybe started as level 25 or so

I cant find anything about this, maybe its an Ark mobile thing

Seems like after the tlc patch they are harder to down, im on unofficial with damage numbers and it looks like theres no headshot multiplier and it took about 60 hits with a crossbow to down a 150 with fairly regular hits

Build a taming pen from 5 or 6 Dino gateways and two gates. Space them roughly equally apart leaving enough space to run in-between the gateways to get in and out, but not so much space that your tame can escape.

Get it to where it is running away then drag it a dead body so it will eat it then start healing and then knock it out while it has the healing symbol over its head if you do it right then it's good will rapidly drain

Make sure when taming you clear the area of carnivore like dinos or it will die. And one of the best traps are the three stone gateways.

Its easy to knock it out useing a trap which takes 4 stone dino gate frame and 2 dino gates

You can place several Dino gates close to each other with gates in the furthest ones out to make a simple taming trap

You do not need to make a trap for this bird, all you need is a few arrows and if you have flak you can just spin around it and it won’t hit you much, once it runs away just snipe it, when it runs you only need to hit it one to two more times

When taming. Build 4 stone dinosaur gates all in a row with small gaps, the place a door on both ends. Kite the Argy into the pen while the door is open. However take a long run up as the Argy needs time to adjust to a straight line. When it is the trap with you, run through a gap and close the door. Lol it and enjoy!

This is actually about breeding and raising. When you breed them they don’t fly up they just walk so you can just put pillars around them. What I really wanted to post this comment for I how INSANELY long they take to breed, we hatched them and after 2 hours and 15 minutes and they are only 3.7% done

If you are a beginner you can actually tame a lvl 9 Argentavis with 5 narcotic and a few pieces of raw meat

Although I did this when I was a beginner and I was playing in a PVE-Easy Server...

2x3x4 enclosure, two Dino gates on X2 sides. 4 ceilings, 2 on each side.leave out the middle add 4 ramps in the same direction, can't get through the gap

Simply make a trap using pillars and ceiling and make the pillars spaced in a way that pteranodons can barely fit through it.. fly through it close a door on them and tame

Build a 2 high pen with a roof. Get it to chase you in then run out a door in the back and close a dino gate on it. Then tranq. It can damage wood but it should last long enough.

Best way to tame is to build a small cage with pillar walls that it can’t fit out of but you can (add roof). Make sure to add in a dino gate so that it can get in. Once it’s in, close the gate and run out. Tranq it from the outside but careful not to kill it!

Ok the best way to tame one for the least amount of resource is to get it to chase u then run in circles. Also aim for the head to minimise waste.

Lure it to a safe spot then shoot it down otherwise u r dead

Its possible to tranq it out with out a taming pen. I did it with just a crossbow and a pteradon. I shot it a few times in the head and kept distance by flying away until it started to run away. Then i followed it and shot it and so on until it was down. In a taming pen it would be easier but if you want to do it without i wish you good luck. I tamed 2 100+ with ease my way at the same time.

Build a trap with doowframes and then bring it arge into it then shut the gate and then trank it
