Don't tame it with stego kibble unless you have two kibble cause on a lvl 3 stego kibble will only get it to 87% if you do at least bring soothing balm OR prime meat do it for me i wasted stego kibble and only got it to 87% and had no soothing balm or prime meat and i watched its taming drop

They are easier to tame with a friend and a flyer that can hold you, make sure to communicate with the person flying for when it starts to flee.

They have a low Aggro range and their attack are slow and delayed. So bring something like an ascendant bow with tranqs, shoot one, run under it, and repeat until it’s knocked. Then feed kibble or prime meat. These guys generally live in areas where prime meat isn’t hard to find anyways. Or either bring a cryopoded ovis with you, kill it, harvest, and tame.

I play on switch and this thing is awesome it’s one of the best flyers out there very easy to tame no trap needed just make sure you hit it before it starts pour topor running happy hunting good luck

Use 4 dino gateways human length apart, the gates should be on the last two very easy good tame use raw prime meat it so much better

To easily knock it out just use tranq arrows and to get meat get prime meat by getting a shotgun any type and kill a rex for me i use my ascendant pump-action shotgun to kill rex

You have to run they are pretty slow

Get prime meat, get to a vantage point, spray tranq darts, give dat boi narcotics, EZ

Don’t tame in the snow unless u have a trap/spikes because the ice place is rlly dangerous

Instead place a trap near volcano and trap the argy then cover it with spikes

HOPE THIS HELPED!

Kill something nearby the argie you want to tame and wait for it to start eating, then as it starts to eat the thing you killed knock it out with tranq arrows. Feed meat and using this method we didn't even need narcotics

You don't even need a trap, you can just run around in circles while shooting it. You can always use a net gun for an easy tame .

Quick and easy taking steps on the island

1 fly to the volcano on a weaker flyer

2 Place three Dino gates wood or preferably stone for higher levels

3 find a high level Argentavis

4 lure it into the trap and place a Dino gate in the farthest gate from the argy this might not work first try and keep your weaker flyer away from the argy(s) or cryopod it

5 when it flys in place a gate behind it in the first gate so the argy is trapped now tranquilize it then get some prime meat from nearby stegos Rexs carnos or paracers diplos and brontos if you are uses normal meat bring the narcotics you probably won’t need it for prime but I’m not sure I only tamed a highest of 140

Dont use a wooden gate on the argy if you aren't going to tame it for a while. They can break wooden structures

1.have cross bow and tranks

2.shot in head a little bit then body

3.give it raw prime meat

4.tame it

If you go to the beach opposite carno island (the island in the top right of the map) there will be a lot there. They’re an easy tame (in my opinion) but getting them home with the Dino you used to get there is a pain, especially if you need to stop for stamina. I got like 5 tamed argents killed just from getting home. But today I actually got home with an argent after travelling halfway, stopping for stamina, getting killed by a snake, and then travelling half across the map on yet ANOTHER one of my dinos to go and save my argent and the pteranodon I used to tame it. After that I got back and I was A OK. When taming make sure you bring double the tranqs dododex says cuz when they are too far away you won’t be able to hit them so I’d also recommend bringing a tribe who could aggro the argent and fly back to you, meanwhile you can get tons of headshots and knock it out

Find one on the side of the volcano and have it agro onto you. Land on a safe area of the mountain and shoot it with tranq arrows or darts. They don’t do much damage if they’re lower than 75 so just let it hit if it gets close and keep shooting it. When it’s knocked out feed it some raw meat or better and it’ll be tamed in no time

USE NORMAL CROSBOW TO KNOUCK THEM IN MOBILE!! IF YOU USE MASTER CRAFT OR JOURNAMEY IT WILL KILL THE ARGY!!! I just killed one level 200 female for this

1- find a argy (try find a argy on redwood Mountain or artic biome)
