Hey! Sort of directed at the mobile player who found out that Argentavis food drains incredibly fast if they're knocked out with the healing buff from a corpse. I'm a PC player and just tested this- the Argentavis' food drained over 1k immediately. Have fun taming!

Okey I know probably nobody cares but I just got so lucky: My argie was on low health (100/950 ) and could get easily killed by a Rex. There is the thing, while flying out of the volcano mountain, I miss clicked and went out of my argie. Just in front of a level 120 Rex. I thought we would just die ( me and my Argie ) but I managed somehow to jump on it and get away of the Rex. ( the point is that the Rex was attacking a ptera so it didn’t attack me directly which gave me the time to escape. If this ptera wasn’t there my argie would be probably gone )

You dont rlly need narcotics but i recommend using them just to be safe

Just tamed one and it is so slow but has a lot of weight and health and damage it has a weight reduction of obsidian metal and crystal

Best way to level up for the saddle? Any Ideas? I’ll leave your idea a thumbs up if it works

Note: I’m level 45-

To avoid your Dino leaving out of the blue, put it in a “barn” style house. I have had my birds peace out one too many times into the sky and I cannot get them down. Very frustrating… also happened to my pteranodon :(

Just for reference I tamed a a lvl 125 argentavis with a bow and tranq arrows and one toxicant arrow,bow did 110 torpor damage because torpor scales with weapon damage argentavis had just over 1000 health and I nearly killed it was left with 37 hp be carefull trying to tame a argentavis if it’s hp gets to low go for body shots instead of head shots since head shots do 10x damage check it’s health and torpor very often otherwise you will probably kill it hope this helps

OK I have like five their names are vulture, eagle, owl, Dove and Phoenix at first I had used like a cage to trap it and then punch it a bunch of times until I learned about four or five narcotic arrows could nock it out faster then I use regular meat to start it as I go and get prime meat if this Helped Please click up

A pteranodon they can fit through two doors stacked up but an argy can’t so use that in your trap

When it is low on health kill a small dino and carry him to the bird, it will start healing from harvesting him

Taming an argy is not that hard. It doesn't take all those traps people say you need to tame one. All it really takes is courage and maybe a good freind in case something goes wrong. The way I tamed my argy was shooting it once with a trank bullets and luring it away from any dangerous creatures. Once your in a safe area and if you have a fraind with you just shoot as much tranks into him and he's out, it does work without a frai d but it just take a bit longer.

I had found a lvl 20 all black female agry and I led it into that tall mountain and knocked it out, then I went to go kill a lvl 7 diplo I had seen before when I couldn't find it I went back to see just ore and the ground. make sure you got the food to tame it ahead of time or it's going to go get the milk

2 shots or sometimes 3 and is out put kibble or meat just wait 1 hour and it's tame

Easiest way to solo tame:

(Don't know who invented. Saw it in game but not instructions in dodo dex.

1 stone foundation (1 pillar and 2 ceiling to save spawns)

4 stone walls

1 roof

1 door

Find an area with argents either put down foundation (or pillar and ceiling combo.), next turn 4 walls into double doorway and build a box out ofthose. Put roof on top and then put the door on the left or right side of roof not front or back. When done it should loosely resemble a glass box trimmed in stone with the lid open and a door on one side.

With door closed fly pteradon to argy get it aggroed to Petra and slow fly through "open box lid" of trap and out the doorway in the back. Immediately dismount run to side with door and open it. Tada trapped argent. It cannot fly out with door open.

If you have a good enough rifle, you can matador one. If lag is not to bad and you are good shot you can knock it when it tries to retreat.

All I had to do was take a Pteranodon to Y30, X80 and there were a lot of Argentavis' there get off your Pteranodon and use it as a distraction, Trank the Argentavis until knocked out I suggest putting some levels into health on the Pteranodon if you want it to survive, use prime meat or normal meat to tame it it's really easy and it's a great bird to have

If ur starting out what I think you should do is tame a pt, this can be on valg rag - they're the easier map because of mutton but then get a stone foundation 8 stone singular door ways and a ceiling play 6 door ways on the foundation and put roof on top , gey argy attention when once in trap put 2 door ways behind it

I tamed one by running around it and shooting it. Don't use raw meat takes forever use raw prime meat. If this helped up it if not that's ok I'm here to help.

You can tame these with only one prime meat and one tub of soothing balm! Put it in their inventory after hurting them a lil bit and it instatames them! (Only applies for level 40 and lower, plus I just got mine using this technique! Up if this helps)

There easy tames without the starve just 5 gates and some tranqs is all you need

Also a easy way to tame it is to trap it to make the trap you need 3 dino getes and 2 dino gate door and get it in and close em tadaaa ready to Kock out
