uhm i was taming a argy then i was freezing so i went home to get a torch and when it was morning i got back there and i didn’t see my argy so i tamed another one and i tamed it so i whistle all follow and it said 3 creatures heard your whistle i got confused and i was going home and i saw the argy that i was taming before and now i have 2 argys

Using a dino to distract the argy is better than wasting resources, things you need will be a tanky dino [on passive] some prime, 30-50 tranq arrows, and a crossbow and wait, i recognize using so narcotics to be safe. I got 12 argy that way including 2 raven/crow colored and 2 chickens. I reccomend using a dino trap on the argys in a group cuz they may kill your tame. Thats a taming tip, enjoy :)

Step 1:tame a flyer that you’re willing to sacrifice

Step 2:find an argentavis to tame I recommend going to the frozen tooth but bring campfires

Step 3:get the argies’ attention with the sacrificial tame

Step 4: land at your preferred taming spot

Step 5:get away from the tame and let the argy start killing it whilst you shoot it with darts or tranq arrows

Step 6:put its kibble or meat in its inventory

Step 7:you will now have an ARGENTAVIS!!!!

Shoot with a tranq arrow and dodge its incoming attack. 3 tranqs from a primitive x-bow koed a level 7. Hope this helps!

i was able to knock one out with about 3 toxicant arrows then just built walls around it to rpotect it while taming i prefer using a bow rather than crossbow since it has a fast reload.

The way I tamed my argies are like this. I don’t use a trap. The argies are not quick so you cam make it aggro on you , fly a bit farther with your pteranodon (or run) shot it with tranqs and repeat.Then you can use spikes around if you want to protect it.

Get Your around 40/27 TRANQS/Tranquilizer DARTS

THEN get 20/40 Narcotics

+ Tip (there really slow so you can do it on foot)

Anyways bring kibble or prime meat!(if ur low raw meat still works)

Anyways there usually at mountains and all the cool stuff but they also spawn at region dead island!)

Not really any argy tip but I used Argys in breeding, if you cryo the babies you dont want and find something you want to tame ex. Rex or a higher lvl argy, after you knock out your new dino, toss the babies out and slaughter them for prime meat that doesn't spoil as fast.

How to tame an argy.

Go right outside the arctic

Place 2 Dino doorways right next to each other

Put doors on them

Go find the argy you want and make it Agro on you

Run to your doorways

Open the first door and go in between

Wait for the argie to follow, when it does, shut the door and run out

Then the Argie is trappped

Feed it a corpse to make the healing affect start

Knock it out however you want ( WHILE THE HEALING IS STILL ON)

Put meat of any kind in its inventory, BAM it tamed in SECONDS!

Congrats, you have an argie! They’re saddle unlocks and lvl 62

Arguably easy to actually tame, hard to get to though

You can use the sleeping trick on any knock-out tame! Trap it, sleep and knock out. The food value will be 0.0. Now put food in inventory and you have tamed it in half minute! No starving and food spoiling!

Up if argy should have a tek saddle

Why it says 100% chance of death? Idk. I slingshot the heck outta it and knocked a 140 argy out.

For a quick and effective trap make 3+ stone dino gateways and 2 reinforced Dino gates and place one and put a door in it then walk a couple of meters and place another one rinse and repeat until you are on your last one and for the last one put in your Dino gate.(more gateways means easier trapping and more room for the Argy to tame) then lead it in once you open one of the gates then run through the gap between the 2, tranq, give meat,mutton,prime, or kibble and voila you have an Argy or check out Captain Fatdog’s YT channel for a cheaper trap make popular if u though this helped

The easiest way to tame is to just shoot it with tranq darts or arrows. You will spend more time building a trap than knocking it out, it also does not wake up fast, so just tranq it. The hardest part, whether you have a trap or not is stopping Dino’s from trying to eat it while it is knocked out. I am lvl70 on ASE mobile, and love my argie. Just not enough to build a trap for them before taming.

If you don't want to spend a lot of time (especially newbies in mobile ARK) on building a trap and high cost of resources. I recommend the channel ' captain fatdog '. He has tips on building traps Argo, Gigi, Rex, Rinio and others.

FYI they eat prime meat jerky

I recommend as it does quite a bit and lasts longer than prime meat but not as effective as prime meat

You can fish for an argentavis saddle blueprint with a fishing rod.

Easy early game tame to flying.

This is a must do for brutal mode players(Mobile)

Due to how slow XP goes up

I always get WRECKED by these things... then I learned if you make a harpoon launcher and net projectile you can net the argy, shoot shoot, tame it up with ZERO damage and you don't have to try and set up cumbersome traps!
