I would recommend taming a male and female then breeding as this is the easiest way to gain a high stat or army if u wanted to but don't keep going out and taming em it can be hellish especially at dead island

Easy have your pt with good hp good enough to tank fly it into the volcano and ko it in the volcano works on mobile idk about on pc/console but it works and it’s safe.

If your a new player, trust me, these guys are way easier to tame than you think. Just build a trap and get plenty of narcotics - lure it in by getting it to follow you - but don’t get too close. And boom you have a a argy!

If you don’t have acces to a AC yet , just throw the egg on the ground inside your base at night/early morning. Temp between 8-14 celcius are perfect. Pick it up when it’s getting to hot in the late morning.

Because argy's spawn in spots with lots of predators, all you have to do is build a wooden spike wall around it when it's unconsious. Predators will get killed on the spike wall and won't harm your argy. I used this strategy with my gallimimus i was taming in the redwoods. I tamed it safely! You can use this with many diffrent creatures to protect them when they're unconsious. The bigger the creature, the more the walls. For an argy, i'd say around 6 walls. I once had knocked a therizino unconsious, and it was killed by dilos. If i had used spike walls, those dilos would have died! R.I.P therizino. Hope thos helped!

you don't need trap just tranq arrows and meat

You don't even need a trap for these guys. Just aggro one and shoot in the head and boom easy tame.

First I recommend tranq arrows not darts

2.knock out

3.don’t use meat use fish or prime meat

4. Boom tamed a great flyer

You knock it out then put meat in it. :^

When they get the green glow fast regen thing nock it out it will be starved for somereason

Once you get one of these bird attention QUICKLY place 5 or so stone/wood dinosaur gateways in a row, far enough where they don’t connect but close enough where they can’t get out. Place 2 doors, one of each end.

Get it’s attention again and while you’re running through the gateway, be QUICK to open and shut the gate while you manage to escape.

Once trapped and you get out, shoot with tranq arrow and feed raw meat, make sure u feed narco or bio toxin while taming

Use armadilhas com 3 portões, pode ser de madeira mesmo e certifique que não tenha inimigos ao redor da área da armadilha para não atacar a argentavis quando ela estiver no chão

For ant pne who is early gamer with crossbow or reg bow just shoot in face if around level 25 or lower and i will go out and breed dino and hatch babies and kill them for pilrime I tamed a level 15 and it level 33 now and already killed a bro tosaurs so highly advise it just look close in woods

For those who like pretty colours on their tames, lost island lava biome spawns bright red almost phoenix like argy’s

uhm i was taming a argy then i was freezing so i went home to get a torch and when it was morning i got back there and i didn’t see my argy so i tamed another one and i tamed it so i whistle all follow and it said 3 creatures heard your whistle i got confused and i was going home and i saw the argy that i was taming before and now i have 2 argys

Take a couple tranq arrows and hit it a couple times but be ready they attack

When it starts to fly away hit it a couple more times

Then put a couple meat stacks in the invo and bio toxin

Then you have a a Argentavis

Step 1:tame a flyer that you’re willing to sacrifice

Step 2:find an argentavis to tame I recommend going to the frozen tooth but bring campfires

Step 3:get the argies’ attention with the sacrificial tame

Step 4: land at your preferred taming spot

Step 5:get away from the tame and let the argy start killing it whilst you shoot it with darts or tranq arrows

Step 6:put its kibble or meat in its inventory

Step 7:you will now have an ARGENTAVIS!!!!

Shoot with a tranq arrow and dodge its incoming attack. 3 tranqs from a primitive x-bow koed a level 7. Hope this helps!

i was able to knock one out with about 3 toxicant arrows then just built walls around it to rpotect it while taming i prefer using a bow rather than crossbow since it has a fast reload.

Not really a tip but a question, how should I deal with multiple argys in the area? If u see this please respond
