These things are my go-to mounts ...they are beasts , breed a few high level ones and pump melee, weight and stamina and I am pretty certain you can take on a lot of things other than a giga

Use one of these levelled in health and melee damage to kill wyverns and clear dragon trenches to steal eggs. My max level argy killed about 30-40 wyverns and got me an egg

Simply make a trap using pillars and ceiling and make the pillars spaced in a way that pteranodons can barely fit through it.. fly through it close a door on them and tame

Can carry anky for metal runs now with update. Useful for quick runs around base. Also can carry a lot at 50% weight reduction

Jut so you know, TLC 2 makes the argentavis like a smithy. It has a weight reduction for metal, wood, stone etc.

Argies can be used to carry many dinosaurs into taming pens that are too hard to tame in the wild with other dinosaurs that might interfere with the taming. Pump stamina and weight for a great transporter.

Pretty useless as of right now besides making smaller things easy to tame. After the tlc 2 update it's gonna be a mobile smithy and will have reduced carry weight for obsidian and other things. So next quetz and anky metal run bring an argy so you can grab obsidian and put it in argy.we all know the pain of getting boned by 1k weight of obsidian and having to drop it.

Since TLC2 Argys can carry Ankys, which makes them even more useful for metal runs. @dododex Update the Carry Lists please

Build a 2 high pen with a roof. Get it to chase you in then run out a door in the back and close a dino gate on it. Then tranq. It can damage wood but it should last long enough.

Best way to tame is to build a small cage with pillar walls that it can’t fit out of but you can (add roof). Make sure to add in a dino gate so that it can get in. Once it’s in, close the gate and run out. Tranq it from the outside but careful not to kill it!

Awesome bird to have one as a travel bird. Like a small airplane when you level up stamina.good for capturing and carrying small to mid sized animals. Plan to tame a pack of kaprosuchus with this method. It's one of the largest animals argentavis can carry. It's also good for setting up the new bases as it carries emense weight especially when weight is levled up.best hunting bird I ever had.

Best dino for mass metal transport unless you’re using body bags glitch... has reduced weight for metal ingots! make 10 of these follow you to your smelting station in the mountains. Put metal on them and follow them back.

can kill a wyvern in combat. Breed them and make yourself a war bird. With the new Argy ni wyvern will stand against you

Ok the best way to tame one for the least amount of resource is to get it to chase u then run in circles. Also aim for the head to minimise waste.

Very happy with my argents tamed a pack of five raptors, two dire wolves, a daodon, a scorpion, a sabertooth and a patchy just with two of these guys a simple taming pen and some tranqs...

Lure it to a safe spot then shoot it down otherwise u r dead

Its possible to tranq it out with out a taming pen. I did it with just a crossbow and a pteradon. I shot it a few times in the head and kept distance by flying away until it started to run away. Then i followed it and shot it and so on until it was down. In a taming pen it would be easier but if you want to do it without i wish you good luck. I tamed 2 100+ with ease my way at the same time.

Build a trap with doowframes and then bring it arge into it then shut the gate and then trank it

To trap one, build a box with a Dino gate, must be stone or the argy will damage it. Put in a ceiling but leave one out. Your ptera can fit through that, the argy can't.
