Place wooden spike walls around the argy, or any other taming dinos. It makes the tame so much easier

It does not take 8 headshots with a crossbow i shot it 28 times and still was not downed lvl 140

If your argy gets in a sky fight and you lose sight of them or if you lose them while they're following and they're not behind you, far too often it's because they are stuck on the skybox. Fly up and look around the general area you lost them/last saw them. Found this out when I was a fresh spawn on the island and was given a lv280 and promptly lost him. Found him the next day with the help of the tribe that gave him to me. RIP Blue, we miss you <\3

Three to four dinosaur gate ways lined up with two gates on each side lead him in and tranq him if he gets low from shooting him kill something small and take it to him when he eats it it heals him.

when you find one of them, there will be at least 1 or 2 other argys in the area. make sure you find one that is alone. then shoot with tranq arrows or darts. Then feed stego kibble then you have an argy! Hope this helps!

Carry an Anky to your favourite metal location and come back with a tonne of metal. Metal weighs less on both creatures, so load em up!

Nobody has put the easiest way to tame trap argy tranq till running away feed dead body knock out while healing effect is going food should be close to empty if done right your welcome

U can instant this can save hours get into trap tranq it do its running from u or check it’s torpor with a mag glass when it’s 1 or 2 hits away from being knocked out put a body under it like a Dino body your out a bed down and kill yourself wait for it to eat the body might take a few minutes but when it does eat the body light it up with tranqs while it has the green effect if u knock it out while it had the green affect it’s food will go down by a lot and I mean a lot more then enough to instant tame

Fun fact: The argie can carry the most dinos without a platform saddle. One in its beak, one that it’s carrying in its talons, and one that you’re carrying. If you want to go even beyond, get a friend who rides the Dino being carried in the talons while their holding a Dino. (If an argie can carry a person in its beak, or could carry 3 people and 3 dinos)

Probably the best flying battle creature because you can repair your gear and craft things

Amazing at how they carry metal so ride your ptredon to some metal rocks get your anklo to get the metal my guy has 322 metal and only weighs 121 kilograms

I love my Argy because she is the perfect predator. You can attack the target easily,fly away then repeat untill the target die. You can pick up easily lot of dinos and kill them in air. For taming its also one of the best creatures. Pick up the wanted dino and drop it in your taming pen.

Its really nice to have a argy with you. My argy is a full black female.

You can do solo stone runs with an argy and a doedic it swings automatically when close to rocks and does not need another tribe member on doedic

Mid to early game tame. Very useful since it has a built in smithy. It also halved the weight of multiple items and is the best flyer for farming cuz its weight is high.

Argentavis can be attacked by the creature they are hold while they are holding it.

I knocked one out after it got the regen buff from something I killed for meat, tamed in about 20 seconds, maybe started as level 25 or so

Seems like after the tlc patch they are harder to down, im on unofficial with damage numbers and it looks like theres no headshot multiplier and it took about 60 hits with a crossbow to down a 150 with fairly regular hits

Build a taming pen from 5 or 6 Dino gateways and two gates. Space them roughly equally apart leaving enough space to run in-between the gateways to get in and out, but not so much space that your tame can escape.

Get it to where it is running away then drag it a dead body so it will eat it then start healing and then knock it out while it has the healing symbol over its head if you do it right then it's good will rapidly drain

They are the best creature for ark. They are great if u upgrade them and they have a smithy on them. Upgrade it’s weight stamina health and melee damage. Mine killed a level 50 giga very fast. They are great for traveling but avoid water so u don’t fall into and have to go to shore and wistle follow. Allways bring them for tames and set there behaviour to attack only conscious. Then u may tame it from off its back and set it next to ur tamed animal then put him down so if anything attacks ur untamed u can attack it and ur Argentavis will kill it. Their stamina is amazing so u can travel across the map and they are pretty fast. They can carry a lot of weight so u can go on metal trips and carry it back on them. If u are on a online server these still apply but online these are also amazing creatures because u can live on it basally because all u need is one shelter and then u can set ur tame there after ur online.
