Hello it’s ken. You can tame a low level argy if your a beginner in a server, you should probably bring a crossbow and 10 tranqs and listen wasting materials on a trap is not worth it.

With crossbow you only need like 5 or 4 trans arrows. But bring 10 in case. Saddle unlocks at level 62 if you want to ride it, and it’s a very helpful tame although not very fast but can hold a lot of weight

This bird will be your best friend, that one tame you see as similar to your pet will be this one

Dont use a wooden gate on the argy if you aren't going to tame it for a while. They can break wooden structures

Could also be called as a rite of passage kinda tame..don't ya think

1.have cross bow and tranks

2.shot in head a little bit then body

3.give it raw prime meat

4.tame it

Literally just kite a high level one into a trap and tranq it until it sleeps. Then pump it full of parasaur and divebomb a low level brontosaurus for prime meat to make it go faster. Congrats, you've conquered Ark.

I've found that taming 2 is the way to go. Stack one with health and melee. And the other with weight and stamina. Use one to fight and one to haul.

If you go to the beach opposite carno island (the island in the top right of the map) there will be a lot there. They’re an easy tame (in my opinion) but getting them home with the Dino you used to get there is a pain, especially if you need to stop for stamina. I got like 5 tamed argents killed just from getting home. But today I actually got home with an argent after travelling halfway, stopping for stamina, getting killed by a snake, and then travelling half across the map on yet ANOTHER one of my dinos to go and save my argent and the pteranodon I used to tame it. After that I got back and I was A OK. When taming make sure you bring double the tranqs dododex says cuz when they are too far away you won’t be able to hit them so I’d also recommend bringing a tribe who could aggro the argent and fly back to you, meanwhile you can get tons of headshots and knock it out

They are by no means fast but they are good at everything else; combat, grinding, carrying etc. And when leveled properly they can be the best at one specific task while still being fairly good at the other ones.

If you are on the island map then go to the dead island and then get a good level to fallow you to the main land. I got a level 65 to the main land then knocked it out

People keep on saying about the argues or other creatures missing but in mobile go on your character go on takes and it will show your tames if you press a creatures name and press request it will take some time but your creature will teleport to you

U can just knock them out with a crossbow

I knocked him out, it only took like two tranq arrows. So freakin’ proud of myself!

Find one on the side of the volcano and have it agro onto you. Land on a safe area of the mountain and shoot it with tranq arrows or darts. They don’t do much damage if they’re lower than 75 so just let it hit if it gets close and keep shooting it. When it’s knocked out feed it some raw meat or better and it’ll be tamed in no time

Now carries crystal and obsidian at half weight value.

Now has health regeneration ability, and halfs the wait of metal. Looks amazing too! Vote the this up so Dodo can update pic!

ULTIMATE GUIDE TO TAME A ARGY

1- find a argy (try find a argy on redwood Mountain or artic biome)

2- shoot tranquilizer arrows OR tranquilizer darts on the argy

3- feed the argy

Max out weight and pick up a anky with this, u get metal obsidian and crystal with anky and carry it to anywhere, i use this tactic this is so efficient

For anyone on controller I wanted to not if you take the argie your taming in the crater it has lava and other things so it may not be super viable.
