If you go to the beach opposite carno island (the island in the top right of the map) there will be a lot there. They’re an easy tame (in my opinion) but getting them home with the Dino you used to get there is a pain, especially if you need to stop for stamina. I got like 5 tamed argents killed just from getting home. But today I actually got home with an argent after travelling halfway, stopping for stamina, getting killed by a snake, and then travelling half across the map on yet ANOTHER one of my dinos to go and save my argent and the pteranodon I used to tame it. After that I got back and I was A OK. When taming make sure you bring double the tranqs dododex says cuz when they are too far away you won’t be able to hit them so I’d also recommend bringing a tribe who could aggro the argent and fly back to you, meanwhile you can get tons of headshots and knock it out

They are by no means fast but they are good at everything else; combat, grinding, carrying etc. And when leveled properly they can be the best at one specific task while still being fairly good at the other ones.

If you are on the island map then go to the dead island and then get a good level to fallow you to the main land. I got a level 65 to the main land then knocked it out

People keep on saying about the argues or other creatures missing but in mobile go on your character go on takes and it will show your tames if you press a creatures name and press request it will take some time but your creature will teleport to you

U can just knock them out with a crossbow

I knocked him out, it only took like two tranq arrows. So freakin’ proud of myself!

Aggro range is increased by 200% while holding any kibble, eggs, or meat of any type. Cooked or not. Hope this helps! Also use them to carry ankys to metal mountain due to their quarter weight reduction to all rare minerals. Or use the argy himself!

These birds are frustrating to tame. When at low heath they will give it all that they got to escape.

Find one on the side of the volcano and have it agro onto you. Land on a safe area of the mountain and shoot it with tranq arrows or darts. They don’t do much damage if they’re lower than 75 so just let it hit if it gets close and keep shooting it. When it’s knocked out feed it some raw meat or better and it’ll be tamed in no time

Now carries crystal and obsidian at half weight value.

Now has health regeneration ability, and halfs the wait of metal. Looks amazing too! Vote the this up so Dodo can update pic!

Just go to the big mountain on the island or on other maps look for tall natral things like big sand mountain for scorched earth

I love these guys. In my server with my friends, i created a tek argy baby incubator hatching area. (whatever it’s called) Tek windows with mating on. I have about 10 of these guys now.

How to tame an argy the easy way:

1.find a highlvl argy

2. lure it out of the redwoods mountain .also get rid of the corpise to prevent distractions on argy. pls use flyiers with a lot of stam and health.

3. set ur tame on the ground and passive

4. dismount the tame ur ridding

5 time the shots use crossbows (with tranq arrows) to get headshots

6. get prime(you can get only from harder and larger creatures)

7. starve it

8. defend it until its awake

9. congrats you have tamed an argentavis (saddle lvl 62)

Hey! Sort of directed at the mobile player who found out that Argentavis food drains incredibly fast if they're knocked out with the healing buff from a corpse. I'm a PC player and just tested this- the Argentavis' food drained over 1k immediately. Have fun taming!

Okey I know probably nobody cares but I just got so lucky: My argie was on low health (100/950 ) and could get easily killed by a Rex. There is the thing, while flying out of the volcano mountain, I miss clicked and went out of my argie. Just in front of a level 120 Rex. I thought we would just die ( me and my Argie ) but I managed somehow to jump on it and get away of the Rex. ( the point is that the Rex was attacking a ptera so it didn’t attack me directly which gave me the time to escape. If this ptera wasn’t there my argie would be probably gone )

You dont rlly need narcotics but i recommend using them just to be safe

I would highly recommend using argys in the manticore boss fight about 9 good leveled argys and a yutyranus can easily beat gamma and beta I have yet to test alpha but by adding more I’m sure it can be beaten
