The Archaeopteryx acts as a controllable living parachute, letting you glide safely across long distances and recover from falls or aerial dismounts. It can also help conserve a flying mount’s stamina by allowing you to glide while the mount recovers. When set to wander near Redwood trees, it can passively gather sap.
Tame one of these, but it on your shoulder and fly with a tame up to the world border. Jump off, and enjoy the view! Just remember where you flew up because you’re gonna need to find your tame again. Or alternatively, whistle your flyer on follow. He will fly in front of you and ruin the view though.
