Find Archaeopteryx in the Redwood forests, often perched in trees, and use a bola to restrain one when it lands or after carefully positioning it. Knock it unconscious with tranquilizers, then place chitin in its inventory to tame it, using narcotics if its torpor drops too quickly.
So i was breeding these guys bc i wanted to make an army, but my babies kept dying, they had enough meat, I couldn’t figure out why they were dying. Turns out the babies only eat chitin, though tamed adults can eat meat.
