Pick it up in your argent's beak and knock it out. Chitin shouldn't be a problem, they don't eat alot.

You can use tranq darts and shoot them out of the trees instead of having to sneak up on them to try to hit them before they run, it's just hard to hit them due to having such a small hit box so take the time to aim carefully

they seem like they're slow animals, but you take those eggs and they are the fastest damn thing you have ever seen. Faster than even raptors.

if you think you're only seeing two or three in one tree... I guarantee you more will show up and attack if you touch those eggs.

I was in the process of trying to find a decent level one to tame, I found a single Archie that just has a dropped egg, and it went up the tree so I grabbed the egg...

I got mobbed by about 10 of them and the only reason I didn't die is because I had five tamed argentavis to fight them off before they could kill me.

They hide in the bushes under the redwood trees. If spooked they fly up the tree trunk or cliff face, then from altitude they glide from tree to tree. Watch the bushes for a while, if you see one move in on your bird to snag it. Watch close as it will dart for, and usually up, a tree. You can snag them off of the tree or the ground. But they will glitch and you won't always see them in your tallons! If they are glitching about, you got it. It will show up when you land in the taming pen. Happy hunting!

Archaeopteryx is not half dino fault bird and he is not some missing link he's just a regular bird dinos have lungs like humans the air goes in and back out the same end but archy here has a different stile of lungs birds have only one air sac it goes in through the mouth and come out the butt so in the middle of the Evo losing its dino lungs for a period of time he would lose his dino lungs but won't have his bird lungs he would lose his ability to breath evolution is fake

just tamed a level 4 on mobile level 5 after done taming just gave meat and the option feed appeared im guessing they are carnivores once tamed

Press R on pc to stop and start glides mid fall. Recommend for decently long falls as you still take damage from short to medium ones.

They can gather sap from redwood trees if set to wander
