Start on a bird from green ark in direction of red ark. Turn a little to the right. There is a hill and a mozntain infront of you. Head to the mountain... there's plenty of metall on it - and a spawning point of these little parachutes somewhere near the peak between the rocks... found three at once and spontaneously tamed two of them. Amount of scorpions to hunt on this mountain was helping a lot ;)
More Archaeopteryx Taming & KO Tips
Someone said you can’t tame by bola on ground on mobile. That’s not true, i try to catch ones with bola then shot with bow and tranq arrow, it WORK. but have to use something like larger storage bc it high enough to cover you from wild animals and it won’t let archa run if they awake
Fun fact, archaeopteryx was very important for it was the creature that confirmed the theory of birds being linked to dinosaurs. 🙂
I see the Otter God, the Jerboa King and the Defender of Bulbdogs made an early move. Now I the Archaeopteryx Lord shall rise. If any one of you guys kill these birbs I will look for you and feed your soul to the ravenous birbs I own. So if you see one my birbs Naruto running away for you, DO NOT kill it instead be its friend, they are a great parachute and they are wholesome creatures to begin with. So you have be warned by the Archaeopteryx Lord...
Archys actually eat chitin even after they’ve been tamed. Don’t make the same mistake I did and let it die of hunger trying to figure out what it eats…
IS AN ARCHAEOPTERYX WORTH IT?
Well…..
It is in my opinion cause it’s a very easy tame and good glider. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GETTING A PARACHUTE! These are very fun! However getting down from one is difficult,But otherwise get one very easy. Steps below
1. Get a bow and a tranq arrow
2. Get 1 narcotic 1-5 for levels
3. Kill a scorpion and get the chitin
4. Knock out and feed chitin
5. You have a living parachute
So now you what good it is, it has downsides as well:
Very hard to get down.
The place it is located is very hard and dangerous.
BUT. They can collect sap and other stuff.
Is it worth it? YES IT IS!
I forgot to mention this but it is found in the redwoods.

you need a bola to tame him/her, because when it see you, then it run to the trees.I mean on the trees.
Hi there! Just wanted to share a quick tip for mobile players!
So basically these birbs are kinda bugged on mobile so you can't shoot at them with tranqs whenever they're on trees. So I suggest y'all to simply wait for them to get on land and then shoot them (One tranq dart is enough, normally), or you can just bola one then shoot it. Just keep in mind that you just CAN'T shoot them while they're on trees.
