put a lot of levels in weight and like someone else said put no levels in movement.

When holding an archaeopteryx, you cannot grab anything, you need to drop the bird to use items like pile or spyglass

Just tamed a lvl 145 female and lvl 150 male with only 5 simple kibble for both of them. That's on normal x1 taming on Xbox. They have pretty colors. Bolas, 6 tranq darts, simple kibble and BAM! Got yourself a cutie birdy.

It’s a lot easier to use a bola when taking than just going for it. One buck with an equus also knocks it out. Make sure to be certain something is a micro raptor before killing it, cause these things are rare and look virtually the same

If u play ark survival evolved mobile well you should see this these little creatures can be found in Redwood you can use these as parachute not like make them they are parachute I forgot what they eat but they are helpful and I hope this is helpful as well

May sometimes spawn on the floors of deserts, beware that microraptors look exactly like them!

WARNING: These do not count as shoulder pets when you carry them, the are held the same way as dodos and dung beetles. Therefore THEY TAKE DAMAGE WHEN HELD. Even if your riding a mount your fragile little bird can get hit by anything that targets you. Found that out the hard way.

If you tamed one of these little guys, remember, they still eat chitin when tamed so don’t put it in their inventory’s if u wanna save some

Go to the redwood, look at the trees they'll often fly from one tree to the next. It can take some time to find but when you do they spawn in bunches. Now here's a nifty trick. Not all "grab point" on tree work perfectly, if the archa can't grab the tree it'll just fall vertically to the ground for not only an easy time to tranq it, but also other archas might fall to the ground near the same spot when they come along to feed! I tamed 3 archa in one spot for the price of one (fourth one got away).

Careful about the wildlife especially the angry birds

To the mobile players , I tamed one today and they are insanely useful. For metal runs, just get the leg day buff and as long as you have 150%+ mvment speed you can carry thoursands of metals from the volcano to anywhere on the map, wothout needing an argy i carried 3.5k metal from the volcano all the way to the south beaches very fast.

This creature goes really well with griffins, since the stamina on them is low and they’re really easy to get back on after jumping off.

You can only find these in the redwoods. Have fun keeping an eye on them as they are high up in the trees. If they see you, they will flee. Bola the archaeopteryx so it doesn’t escape and knock it out, feed it chitin, and you have it tamed. Can be used as a parachute.

If you start off in the ocean biome, there great early games as they can travel from Island to island. All you need to knock it out is a bola and club, and the chitin used to tame it can be bought from Helena or gathered from trilobites.

Taming method is exactly the same as the tapejara except it eats chitin.
