Archaeopteryx are skittish, nonaggressive creatures commonly found perched in Redwood trees, where they flee toward nearby cover when startled. To tame one, restrain it with a bola, tranquilize it, and feed it chitin while maintaining its torpor. Once tamed, it functions as a controllable parachute for gliding, recovering from falls, and conserving a flying mount’s stamina, and it can passively gather sap near Redwood trees when wandering. Be cautious of nearby predators and distinguish them from Microraptors when scouting.
