The Araneo is passively tamed with spoiled meat, requiring bug repellent and a careful approach from behind or the side; luring it into an enclosure can make feeding safer. Though weak as a direct combat mount, it excels at slowing and immobilizing creatures or players, supporting taming efforts, defending bases, and exploring caves stealthily. When encountering one, maintain distance and use ranged weapons, or avoid conflict with bug repellent; bolas can also immobilize it.
