Personally I feel like they should be earlygame tame because you just play a little mini game to tame then witch is so easy

To tame this beast you need 1-2 honey. ITS A MINIGAME. Sneak up with ghillie and toss honey at it. Once it starts the eating animation mount it and it will run wild like an equis. Complete the minigame to tame! (Move left or right if the arrows light up)

How to tame

1. Find Andrewsarchus

2. Put Giant Bee Honey in hotbar; equip Ghillie

3. Crouch walk near it so it doesn't aggro and use the honey

4. When it starts to eat the honey, sprint at it and start riding it

5. When riding, a white arrow will appear. Use A/D or move the left stick left or right on controller and hold it in that direction until it turns red. If you hit the red arrow too much or too long it will kick you off and start attacking you. If that happens, leave aggro range, rinse and repeat.

If you manage to tame it successfully, they are really good tames for movement and they have a saddle with a turret that uses ARB. They also have a donkey kick attack, a speed boost ability and are great swimmers.

When taming bring a flyer cryo it when you get thrown off fly to a low safe cliff to wait to de-agrro. Then just feed and repeat. They will chase you use it.

If you enrage it while trying to tame it, either run or have your armor and all your weapons out

It will aggro you and you can tame it with honey.

You must put the honey in your hotbar and then trow it to the pig and right after that you can mount it and start a minigame and while you do the minigame it gets tamed

I used a small 2 by 2 foundation with 2 by 4 doorframes around it on each side with 4 ramps and lead the Andrew into the trap with honey and tamed it with ease

Bring a sinomacrops so you can disengage quickly after thrown off. Fly higher will deaggro so you can rince and repeat

Easy way to do it is grab a mate and get then to fly on a pt or something to pick and we you get kicked off, get the pt to pick you and fly you out of the range and repeat

How to tame a andrewsarcus

Requirements:

.gotta be atleast lvl 2

. Atleast 5 honeycomb depending on the andersarcus lvl

. Gillie suit is optional

Beware:

. Andrewsarcus become hostile when you come to close

Taming:

Step1 put the honey on your hotbar

Step2 trow the honey near the andrewsarcus

Step3 when the andrewsarcus starts to eat the honeycomb run to it and mount it

Step4 you wil enter a minigame

Step5 there wil appear to arrows move to the left if the left arrow turns white and same with the right

When the arrow turns red stop moving your controller/keyboard

Step6 when the andrewsarcus rage meter almost fills get off the andrewsarcus and run

Step7 after you ran you can click on the select the andrewsarcus in your tame tracker

Step 8 after 30 sec of waiting throw another honey near him and reapet this process

Advantage:

. There is a lot of honeystones near andrewsarcuses

Disadvantage:

. If the andrewsarcus rage meter fills up it will kick you off and kill you

7) Make sure to not fail the mini-game

8) Once you done the mini-game you can ride this monster into battle and destroy some powerful Dinosaurs

Trap it put honey down get on do the arrows and before the rage meter fills up run and repeat

Honestly very easy to tame. Just get ghillie and a lot of honey, then clear out the area of potential interruptions and you should be good.
